His high tone sounds like that air tool those horny guys over at the Tire Store use to remove yer tires... when a good-looking girl walks on by, all the horny guys squeeze the triggers of their air tool to her steps
@1cy1nferno Its actually 2 different notes its called a trill! Hes doing that to make it sound more like a bird which was composed in the actual music. And are you sure that an A-flat? it sounds like a different note to me
woot woot, lol, but he is an inspuration to euphonium players everywhere, that includes me. It's kinda sad you can only get great respect with as a euphonium player in europe : (, but you still slightly in the U.S.A
We did a brass band workshop with him running it and conducting, up the northeast of scotland and he played this at the end concert. It was amazing but i prefered his rendition of carnival of venice. The only other person I've seen do carnival of venice without music is my brass teacher Mark Boyd.
i was lucky enough to be some of the lucky lot around the country to play with the national childrens brass band of great britain last year when he was the guest soloist at the concert at the bridge water hall
it was my birthday yesterday and the cory band along with david were doing a concert in my home town with my youth band. so my mum wrote to david. on my birthday he played happy birthday to me, played this to me and signed my euphonium
ive heard david play this twice live and its mint.i know him a bit and he is really cool. euphoniums are te best!i know steve sykes, owen farr, bob childs, nick childs, ian williams, alun horgan. they are all mint!
really gets into your head. spent a week with people who had heard it with me and every now and then you would hear someone break out with WOOP WOOP and everyone else sing the rest.
I play for the camborne youth band, we have david come down to us most years for concerts and things, we played this with him. And in rehersals he picked his euph up and play this without warming up, ridculas.

Technically, a euphonium is called a tenor tuba.

No, it can be classified as a tenor tuba, but nobody calls it that.
