@0katieface0 Formely my school trained in Japanese Goju, although it is really not Japanese Goju it's really American Goju with some very altered techniques from possibly Don Warrener and Brian Cyr implemented with little to no practical analysis to the classical forms. The actual Japanese Goju-ryu/Goju-kai runned by Gosei and Goshi Yamaguchi have very similar techniques in their forms to the Okinawan counterpart.
I currently change to Okinawan Goju-ryu and Matayoshi Kobudo.
I actually learned the exact same version of Saifa kata.
