but bf2 is still pretty good,I wouldn't go as far as to say its the "un-sung hero of summer." but in my opinion its worth the money

i think games are ridiculously priced, i mean, lets do the math, alright first you need a system (probly a ps3 or 360) so thats $350-$500, then every new release game that comes out is $59.99 (in canada) plus tax is $70, and if ur buying at ebgames youll probly pay $3 for 1 year warranty so $75, then ull probly spend at least $100 in accesories, so if u buy 5 good games ur looking at $375 + ps3 (450ish tax in) and $100 in accesories thats $925 and a 360 u need live which is $70, ridiculous

besides, you could always play games on a PC, if it has a good graphics card. You'll already be paying for broadband on it so no need for the live costs, unless if you want sound kit, you don't need many accessories e.g memory card. The games are around £39.99 at proper retailers e.g game, but at market stalls in towns you can get the same quality game roughly £10 - £15 cheaper. And like this vid points out, the games'll get cheaper over time.

yeah i see what you mean but still a console puts everyone on a level playing field, also, its ridiculous that pretty much every game that comes out is $59.99, cuz it adds up so quick, they should be $40 tax in, i was gonna get a 360 arcade for 199.99 but ud need to buy accesories so u might as well buy a pro, but ive heard endless horror stories about them breaking down, if they could just take the blu-ray out of the ps3 itd be so much cheaper

well 360 doesnt have a blu ray and it looks pretty nice, dont start telling me how ps3 has better graphics because yes it does, but really, they both look very nice and i find the difference to be negligible

the thing is with the 360 ur risking it breaking and while u can get it repaired free, thats a hassle in and of itself, not too mention there is no guarantee it wont break down again, also ive never owned an xbox and my brain is wired to that perfect sony controller, i find the xbox one to be awkward, but thats opinion based... anyway bottomline everything is overpriced, they could make a huge profit if they sold them at 75% off. thats stretching it but half off is do-able

yeah ive heard of people who have gotten it repaired 4 times in 5 months what a joke... also, im amazed to see what a scam the arcade really is if u look at the differences between it and the pro, i used to think the elite was a rip off, but they dont mention all the things the arcade doesnt have, like the hard drive, at first i was like, ok as long as i have a decent amount of save space (i wouldnt use much anyway) and can go online but then u cant get much downloadable content, what a joke

i agree the arcade console is a joke and pretty much useless for online... although the premium isnt too much more expensive than the arcade... I also think the elite is good price now about £100 cheaper than what i paid last september (2007)

Agreed, i know someone whos console broke down 13 times in a year. After a year they threatened to sue so Microsoft gave them a new console (not just repaired) and it broke down 2 months later! =D

Fable 2 - The "limitless lifespan" is far from the truth but worth picking up for £20 unless you're a PC gamer and can wait a couple extra months for loads of free extras.

Battlefield Bad Game - This wasn't on the PC so it wouldn't shame the previous battlefield games so I can't see this game being anything special either.

Being a previous PC player, and having played all the BF games on PC to death, I can say that Bad company is defiantly worth a purchase (for mulitplayer). Of course, it's dumbed down for a console audience, but is still brilliant. No other game has the vast, expansive levels it has as well as other nice additions. I agree with you with the rest, though.
