What a great video! I used to live at the bottom of Crouch hill, in Brooke road (although about 16 years after this was shot) and always loved Crouch Hill when it snowed. We'd go up at night after the majority had gone home and spend hours out on our own private tobbogan runs. brilliant times.
Thanks for your comment. The house we come out of is 66 Queensway. In 1962 it was the last house and the road ended there. It was connected up with the other end of Queensway later. Shot on 8mm cine film without sound - and you're right, that is a shame.
Wow, that's several years before my time! Does Crouch Hill even exist any more?! It was quite hard to recognise Queensway in the snow, thus it's probably changed alot since then!
Great vid (for the technology in those days), shame there's no sound with it, though!
