  • The claim that Jerusalem should be a state controlled by the Muslims or by two countries is not only preposterous, but it is also an insult to the God of the Jews. When this happens, it will invoke the wrath of God.

  • you are correct, the God of the Bible has been 100% correct in what he promised (both good & bad) for Israel, so there is no reason to doubt His clear promises to judge nations dividing Israeli land or coming against Jerusalem.

  • But it is also written that they attempt to do this, and they are preparing their way to do that.

  • Fayyad @ 1:25 says this is "a good day for feeling of justice, and uh, for international legitimacy, for international law"...well, firstly, international law is on side of Israel, who gained Jerusalem in self-defense when Jordan, who'd been occupying it illegally anyway, lost it in '67...secondly, Fayyad's untrustworhy, when w/ the IMF, he did an EU-requested audit & found "Palestinian" books to be in order...before EU sent their own auditor & found $ millions transfered to terrorists !

  • @EncompassedRunner I thought I was the only one who stand in the way You do.

Indeed, Israel took over that territory by means of a war. This is the natural way in human history to gain control of a land. In the same way, if Muslims want to control Israel, they have to wage a war against the Jews. This is the way how things are determined. All in all, Israel is the onwer of that land, and anybody claiming the contrary is also meaning that USA should give the land back to UK, for instance.

  • afigueroaa, I wish to clarify: Israel became a nation-state not because of a war, not b/c UN gave it to them, but b/c there was a "vacuum" (no nation there) & so they exercised right of self-determination & declared themselves a nation-state. They had historical & moral right to Jerusalem before '67 but had voluntarily agreed to UN Gen. Assembly (therefore *suggestion* not law) Resolution 181 to internationalized city, but 181 took effect b/c Arabs attacked in '48 & Jordan won it, lost it in 67

  • EncompassedRunner The British did the "dirty work", and accordingly, they didi what they pleased with the land.
