I think there is a clear historical disconnect unfortunately. Most of us Arabs grew up knowing almost nothing about the history of "Arab Jews". That portion of our history was eliminated from our education for political and economic reasons, and now you have a whole generation does knows nothing about the Jews except what they hear in the media, even though Jews and Muslims coexisted for 2000 years.
