  • why are all the videos that are recommended for this one about people coming out?

  • Does anybody know the name of the dance guys in white & blue perform? Or at list their probable ethnicity.

  • @Imagineau That is a dance usually performed by Muslim Sufi adherents known as dervishes. The dance is a form of prayer/meditation. What you're seeing is the origin of the phrase "whirling dervish."

  • @sarairosenbaum Thank you very much! It's very helpful, cause I find it mermerizingly beautiful but nobody could tell me what is it for a long time :)

  • That was a real location that it dissolved into.

    Very Dali

  • That awesome fade out reminds me of the one in the Heavy Metal movie.

  • Best fade out in the cinema history

  • Googly googly googly.

  • This is ,officially, the most beautiful and fascinating movie i've ever seen!!!!

    Tarsem is a genius!

  • OMG, it's Davros!

  • @Lee86Cr Who? The Priest?

  • @kokoricharmed

The guy with the long hair. (The Mystic?) Julian Bleach.

  • That match cut is FANTASTIC.

  • I got the chills so hard it hurt watching this movie. Lee Pace is magical.

  • googly googly googly go away! No wait! COME BACK >.< I EFFING LOVE THIS MOVIE!

  • He is such a beautiful guy! Magic in his face. It's like scene in Labyrinth when Sara has got in a crystal sphere, and before these has run into a dozing condition

  • He is sooo beautiful guy! Magic in his face

  • God I love this movie

  • looks like something out of the fifth element

  • This scene is my favorite also. The cinematography is so insanely beautiful here--I'm taking a Music in Film class this semester at my Uni, and this scene is so amazingly done from the beginning (when he starts to tell about the wedding), to the very end when the Priests' face is shown.

Gosh, I love this movie <3

  • Costumes are amazing.

  • get the blu-ray guys,

  • this is filmaking at its best.

  • How this film escaped getting an Oscar nomination for costume design, art direction, and cinematography is just another example on how the Oscars pick and choose on which movies to recognize.

    Screw them

  • the guy's voice...wow

  • so stunning

  • My fave Part is..... Kaboom!!! hahaha wont say anything else to spoil the movie for people who haven't seen it beautiful movie just saw it on starz and I want to buy it on blue ray

  • @ADCVirgo oh my god i loved and hated that part

  • If our existences was like a Movie, we'll be spoken like the Mecano's song

  • nice dissolve

  • thanks, i loved this scene!

  • Roy's sexy voice...."the first marriage...woooshhh....and then they can kiss..ssss..."

the mystic was right...the sexy voice of Lee Pace is killing me! Amen!

  • One of the most beautiful scenes in the film!!

  • I still think the scene change from the priest grinning to the mountain is one of the best scene changes i've ever seen - love this film.

  • i love how alexandrias influence teases into his story (googly googly)

  • This movie is just so artistically and creatively woven together that it's way ahead of its time.

  • this is a lovely scene...

  • I just saw this movie and it is now my favorite movie of ALL TIME!!!

  • the cut from the priests face to the mountain side is just sheer genius, especially as the camera pans and u realise that they must of actually altered the landscape for it as it certainly doesnt look like cgi

  • Greatest movie I've seen in a long time (years). One question - were some background scenes used in another movie called "BARACKA"? Or did Tarsem used scenes from that movie?

  • search "mevlana"

  • Had to remember to breathe while watching this scene & two others. Tarsem made "The Cell" too-- not a surprise there, huh?

  • bellissimo-bravo

  • I loved this movie, I will always love it..Sis and me watched it, and I say..the photo, the story, the small stories, the EVERYTHING! I try so hard to get atleast one of my friends to see it, but to now fucking avail, since all they want to see are action-movies with as much illogical holes in the plot as possible.. Thank you for uploading this and brightening my day. :)

  • to be fair. one of the most glaring holes in this plot is the absence of supervision of the little girl. would you really let a little girl spend so much time with a suicidal guy?

  • As most suicidal people are only a danger to themselves, the doctors probably assumed no harm in letting her stay around him, and that having her as company would even cheer him up. Plus, this is a very different time period.

  • They weren't aware that he was suicidal- to the doctors his Fall was an stunt accident.

  • i love it how in this part of the movie the dancers are saying googly googly..

  • I love this movie with every vein in my body.

Also, the priest is strangely attractive.

  • this movie is not one of my favs, but this particular scene is truely genious!!. i was the only person watching the movie in the theather, i can tell you that i was almost hypnotized....

  • I love The Fall. It is full of lovely emotions. Lee Pace is so cute. <3

  • This movie is absolutely amazing in every way.

  • This is the best scene in the film.

  • Ahhh, everything about this movie is so visually stunning. It's perfection.

  • will someone have pity on poor viewers as I who haven"t seen the film and upload? Please?

  • Watch it on Blu-ray on the biggest TV you can find. YouTube won't do it justice.

  • What IS "BlueRay"? Also, no hava the famous invention called "TV".

  • HD dvd

  • Every blockbuster that I've ever been to has it in their used movies bin for anywhere between $5-$10. I bought my copy with lunch money. :B

  • Its a shame it didn't get the exposere it deserved. Hopefully it will be one of those films that get more popular with age, a hidden gem. Its more than for the $20+ full price.

  • i'll be uplaoding the movie on my backup account

  • could you REALLY upload the mpvie? please please please please please pleeeeeeeeeease??? That would make my day!!

  • @AnimeVampire1324

I will probably upload it in the next days

  • SWEET! I'll subscribe to you, then...

  • @AnimeVampire1324

    Upload ? Not good idea...

  • I LOVE the look on darwin's face when he says "something about...googly googly?"

And what beautiful costumes. Espiecally Lee/Masked Bandits hat!

  • god the music is so beautiful ! I do wish they would bloody bring out the soundtrack! Im desperate for it!

This is the best movie ever!

  • the majority of the soundtrack is Beethoven's 7th symphony or variations of it. You can find that pretty easily.

  • That priest is soooo creepy, I bet he alone is responsible for most child molestation stories we hear

  • This is the scene that sticks out in my mind when I think of the film.

  • Does anybody know the song in the background? I cant find it ANYWHERE! Its so beautiful!

  • I'm looking for this song and the song when the princess and bandit are talking, the "Captured my heart" scene.

  • if it were anywhere it would be on the film's soundtrack because it was made for the movie since the vocals are "googly googly"

  • Beautiful movie. :)

  • man what are you talking about? seriousley what is wrong with this movie and what is wrong with you hahha.

  • I am sure that it is inspired by work of Mark Romanek and his scene for Madonna s video Bedtime Story. But I love this scene, I think that it is visually stunning and the camera work is great. And finally, great point: "Suicide is not the answer".

  • What? Are you serious? How did she ruin it?? Personally I thought she was great in it and very natural.

  • Say... does anybody know the name of the song that plays in the back... "something about Googly googly...?"

  • I am in love with that man's voice.Really.

  • Same here! While I was watching it, both my friends and I said he has a very nice voice.

  • Excellent photography, Tarsem is the best!!

  • tarsem is good but his visuals are with the great help of tommy turtle, i assure you

  • This movie is the most beautiful movie I have ever seen. I would recomend it to anyone because it is just that good and well written. If you haven't seen it, run to the nearest Blockbuster or whatever and rent it. It is aboslutely amazing.

  • Brilliance <3

  • The cross cut at the end of this scene is simply put amazing!

  • i got dizzy watching this lol.

  • wow,the costumes are beautiful

  • i absolutely love this movie. and this was one of the best scenes. loved the whirling dervishes.

  • Way cool scene! I'll have to watch it now for sure.

  • im so confussed. where's the groom?

  • Haha the guy in blue and hat. =P

  • That is visually amazing. Is this movie based on Camus's book? I must see it. Thanks for sharing. Costumes are dazzling!

  • I don't think it is based on any of Camus' books, but it does have a lot of existentialism as does Camus' work

  • It is based on the Bulgarian movie "Yo Ho Ho" - produced in 1981. Amazing movie/story back then ...

  • @Theophi1us

It's actually based on an earlier film called Yo Ho Ho - screenplay by Valeri Petrov

  • It is based on the Bulgarian movie "Yo Ho Ho" - produced in 1981. Amazing movie/story back then ...

  • "something about...googly googly?" lmao.

  • Lol, dont pay attention to the googly googly and look at how pretty it is. =P

  • @Theophi1us

The film company was called Googly Films!

  • @onethousandsteps

You have to watch the movie. The story telling is interactive, and the man telling the story uses things in the story that relates to the little girl. She had told him about googly googly, a trick she learned from an old man in the hospital to overcome fear.

  • Is this movie being serious?

    It just kept hearing "googly-googley-googly..."

  • It is actually really serious, you'd have to see it to understand

  • it puts the googley googley on the skin, then spin class starts

  • He's telling this story to a little girl.. and earlier, she had been taught some "magic words" by an old man who was trying to cheer her up. "Googly, googly, googly, begone!" or something along those lines. He continually uses little details like this to entertain the child.

Also, The Fall was produced by Googly Films so I'm assuming that's where it came from in the first place.

  • It's a cricket term. A sneaky kind of pitch- like a curve ball.

  • 1st! im getting dizzy....thud

  • haha

  • they call it "the fall" fur nuttin lol

  • what do you mean the whole movie is based on falling! falling in and out of love, falling off of bridges, falling off of trees, falling off very long ropes, falling out of the labrynth of despair. falling on a bed of arrows.all different kinds of falling! hence the name "The Fall"

  • umm well i did accidently leave out the word "dont" out my comment, as in: they dont call it the fall fur nuttin. that is all, carry on (falling) lol

  • ...Falling asleep, falling of of drug shelves, falling...

  • Don't forget the Fall of Governor Odious and his reign of tyranny. That MIGHT just be the most important one...

  • Yes maybe your right just maybe also Governor Odious falling into his sword cane.

  • To me the most important "fall" was the fall of our two main characters. Alexandria falling from picking oranges and breaking her arm, and Roy falling off that bridge while doing a crazy stunt. If it weren't for the two "falling" then they would have never met and we wouldn't have this whole little adventure.
