Before you do that technique you have to break a guy down. That's why you have to watch the whole video before you make negative comments about the video. If someone writes a letter you have to read the whole letter in order to understand the flow of the letter in order to understand what the author is communicating .
And then death occurs....(whacky music begins to play dooo dee dum dum dee dumdidum dumdidumdidum) please be careful.....hahahahah, Voo is awesome, but I dont know about this quality children's program :D Kids can learn such great things on YouTube these days LOL
Funny, I just watched a video of Paul showing "Dumog" that seems much older than this clip and he mentions the same technique, he's obviously kept hold of it!
@cigarzan Yes, martial arts training should be 2 people beating each other senseless full blast all the time. No need to learn a technique first or anything. Just bash each others brains in until you learn to strike properly.
Can you imagine training this with an overzealous grainy partner? "oops, sorry man! It was an accident! Oh man, your brains beginning to swell...want so motrin?"
It's not the technique that made my skin crawl, it was the Mr. Rogers' Neighbourhood tone in his voice. "Please be careful, let's give it a try...Yes, you neighbour. Be careful not to cause your other neighbour's brain to swell as death will occur."
@ooohrob Thats right and then you trap them and finish off with headbutts knees and elbows. Kneeing the side of a head at not much higher than waist height isn't exactly pinpoint. In mma they are kneeing heads all the time
@TheFreudgonebad if you spilled his pint he would probably buy himself another pint and you one too, not because hes weak but because that kinda stuff is very trivial to martial artists especially ones at his level
@TheFreudgonebad Dan Inosanto really trained some good students in the martial arts. I really love studying Paul Vunak and Erik Paulson both. Vunak more so for trapping and striking and Paulson more so for grappling and ground work.

in reality ........ your never gonna be pinpoint with your knees in a real fight....and thats assuming your get off a knee at all
WHEN SHIT HITS THE FAN.....EVERYBODY USES THEIR FISTS...its natural
ooohrob 3 months ago
@ooohrob you are right.
when I used to free-spar ALOT, we used to use hand strikes more.
BUT, I find that after the first few minutes, that's when the "skillful" part kicks in and you do more strategic moves using all striking limbs.
even in REAL fight situations, first thoughts are to "just weld on this f#$%er".
But you can focus those punches, stun him, and leave him open to kicks/knees/ and such.
just my experience anyhow.

@ooohrob man you're so right, when the killing instict is triggered in both men engaged in the fight, is is all about blasting punches

@ooohrob if you train to use your knees you will... if you watch youtube videos only you won't

isn't there any lesson of wing chun out there just to hurt someone without killing him?
shuffling4fun 3 months ago
lol this won't kill you like he says, unless there's an icepick growing out of your knee.
mma fighters do this all the time.
