I shoot the Grim Reapers and I have never had an animal make it out of my site. Watch 'em Drop, It is very true. I have used Rage and find nothing wrong with them either. I do like them also because I am color blind and it leaves a blood trail Stevie Wonder could follow. To me, you can't go wrong with either one. Just don't shoot your animal in the ass.

Hi i am 11 years old and have a 19 inch draw length. I was wondering if my bow at 40lbs. could expand a 75 grain razortip? I need some broadheads to shoot for this year deer hunting. Thank you

@hunterman2471 from what i have been told any bow under 50-60 lbs should just use fixed blades. but to be honest i cant confirm this because my first bow was a 63# draw and had no issue

y is the grim reaper broadhead open b4 it hits the steel barrel? because it will not open up. rage is best. pause it on 2:58 and u can see the grim reaper blades r open. grim reaper sucks.

yeah I can say from experience I don't own a slipcam but I do have the GR. I was a little disappointed though in it's performance, I shot a coyote and I didn't have a pass through so in order to get a good blood trail the entry needed to be big and the GR on these videos don't open up till it's already 3 inches inside. Ever heard of "leave the knife in him cause if you pull it out he'll bleed out" well same here, if you don't get a pass through the arrow acts as a blood clot. Wish I had the Rage

he prolly had the grim reaper bow poundage set at 100 pounds and the others at 60 you know that the RAGE is the best on the market with the biggest wholes!!!! it doesnt matter by the penatraition it matters if you have a big whole to let the blood run out unlike the grim rapers have a 2 cm entry whole!!! rage all the way bitches!!!

yes they do dipshit it is the first broadhead that they shot at 0:13. and rage 2 sucks i shot 2 deer with them and found both about a mile away. yes the entrance hole was nice but the exit looked like a field point on both of them and i found all four blades embeddd in the chest cavity. but your fixed head selection is good tho. i got rick rolled by the advertisements and i'll never go back to a mechanical. i'll stick with my hca speed pro 55 grainers

@meerkat00 thats a 3 blade im sorry it didnt work out for u but i have had a deer go over 50 yards even with bad shot... im also shooting the mathews reezen a bow 70# 29 dl CE 350s 293fps.. personally ive had no problems ive reccomended them to pp with old bow and they has no luck, idn i love the rage and ive no reezen to change as ive shot 8 deer with my bow and easily recovered all 8... but what do i know?? i still love slick tricks but lost 4 deer when i used them and they are the best FB BH

these alright if u like mechanicals but fixed blades r way better i use thunder heads and i the deer only went about 50 yards double lunged with mathews bow

For those of you who have doubts. Just buy 1 package or the Grim Reapers & shoot just 1 animal with it & you'll know what broadhead to use from now on. I've killed 8 deer with Grim Reapers & have had huge entry & exit holes. Longest tracking job was just over 100 yards & that was my fault, I pulled the shot a little far back. Most deer will not go past 50 to 70 yards after the shot when hit good with a Grim Reaper.

In the archerytalk forum, in their 09 Real World Broadhead Test thread, there were three people who used the Atoms - three deer went down, but all three had minimal blood trails. Two heads were broken afterwards, and the third guy didn't find his arrow.

I won't be using Atom heads.

Of course it out penatrates the rage, because it does'nt open until its inside the animal. Watch again and notice the Rage is open before it is through the hide. Hands down bigger entrace hole with the RAGE.

Yes, but with the Grim reaper you have a large exit hole also. This is lost with the Rage. the Rage is actually horrible when it comes to penetration. I'll stick with the Reapers. Two holes are better than 1.

COmpare teh exit wounds, that's what you really should compare. A double lung pass through trumps a large entry wound.

That's if there is an exit wound. But sometimes something happens and you don't get the exit wound. In which case a large entry hole to bleed the animal out is essential.

Dude, I can kill a deer with a field point, what matters to me is penetration, no deflection, and consistancy. What is the point of having a large cut on the outside if it cannot push threw the bones inside (If you make a bad shot)

of course it out penetrated because the first shot travled down an already existing channel, and the second passed so close to the top of the gelitan that the top blade was cutting on the outside giveing it little restance. i want to see the grim rreaper compare aginst other brodheads in seperate gelitan blocks.
