  • just drill and plug that shit smedge wont go fukin anywhere

  • Carbide bit and aluminum nails work awesome!

  • Half Inch to 3/4 off the wall...WOW, Thats a big ass gap.

  • the stick cutter was replaced with tin snips, and taking nails out of good strip is a no no go get a bag of 5/8ths crete nails :) If anything Im glad to see you guys out there lol..I need more work :) Happy kicking!(not)

  • how about a hammer drill

  • CRI-105 2002 7.1.1 Installation of tackstrip Tackstrip must be fastened securely around

the perimeter of the area to be carpeted and at a distance of slightly less than the

thickness of the selected carpet from all vertical abutments.

    • The distance between the tackstrip and vertical abutments should not exceed

    3/8 inch (9 mm). (NOT 1/2" - 3/4" as this guy states)

  • Can't say it don't work, can ya?

  • Why not post an ad on Craigslist...it works 4 me.

  • u should put some glue under gripper stops it rocking on concreat floors

  • True. Spray adhesives work well.

  • Lol..I'm an installer..you don't need to cut the tackless with those snips man. Just use the back of your hammer to break it off =-).

  • Yeah, yeah whatever...I build houses with snips too, I like em'.

  • only scabs use their hammer to brak the strips ha ha

  • If I can maintain the same quality of installation upon being done, with it being stretched properly and such. If I break the gripper with the back of my hammer so that I go just that much faster. I get home earlier. All the little things add up. If it effects my performance and the job won't be done as well as it should be..I won't take shortcuts.
