Despite Zifeco's opinion, dethklok's success speaks for itself. Though those bands he mentioned are great metal bands they have charted on the billboard 200 as high as dethklok has. Zifeco I don't know if you have checked out all of their songs for this album but quite a few of them are very brutal. Ronsinsane you need chill out, dethklok does have a lot room to grow, in a good way.

Dethklok is indeed very brutal, their sound is just slower and chunkier than most bands out there today. It's Brendon Small who composed the music and wrote the lyrics. He did a great job switching from something as mellow and laid back as home movies to metalocalypse: one of if not the most brutal cartoons on t.v. to date. I find Dethklok to be heavier than most other bands out there and they have no annoying pig squeals either. Just good ol' fashioned DEATH METAL!
