Freon is not a complicated molecule. It only has one carbon. If I were asked to give an example of a very simple molecule, Freon would a good choice.

@hitachi088 ya that works too. Freon is definitely a good choice for a simple ORGANIC molecule. As a substance however, Freon is still less complicated than water.
