  • beautiful. Love it.

  • Thats cool. But a Barong Tagalog and a Barong sword are mis-matched. Barong Tagalog is attire that was designed under and with Castillian(Spanish) influence. Barong sword belongs to the Muslim Moro people of southern Philippines. Moros never were truly influenced by the Spanish, and they kept their swords and traditions alive. There is nothing Castillian associated with the Barong sword.

Does your system stem from Moro Martial Arts?

  • @Maypagasa1896 hello I know they are mis-matched, but I just wanted to play with a little bit of both... actually, I just felt like playing in my barong.. The system is a blend of moro and spanish. Thanks for the comment.

  • @Maypagasa1896 the tagolog barong didn't have much of a spanish influence until recently. neither did the visiyan barong

  • I wish YouTube had a slo-mo play feature so I could study some of your moves easier!

  • @arnisguro I know the deal... it took a month before the doctor realized that I tore my achilles tendon. It took over a year for recovery.
