  • Lol, both of these moves I memorized from the 3x3x3.

  • Just like a 3x3

  • i got one form rubiks.com and its the color sceme where white is opposite of blue yay!! gonna be a better challenge. gonna take a while to figure out to interpret the yellow in this vid to blue

  • i got one form rubiks.com and its the color sceme where white is opposite of blue yay!! gonna be a better challenge

  • youve inspired me into the rubiks world! now i got a speed cube! do u have a 4 x 4 tutorial. if so can u send me a link?

  • I pulled up this video while trying to solve it, and while I was waiting for it to load (Youtube glitch) I ended up figuring it out in this same way (thought about how I solved corners on a 3x3). xD

  • @TJEudy96 same with me, ive ben solving it like thiss for a while before i looked this up o :P

  • i really need to do my homework....

  • This video brings me nowhere...

  • thank you very much

    Mr. MeMyselfAndPi

I had watched other tutorial videos but not of them had it explained so simple as you did.

  • Its not immpossible to have 3 corners wrong...

  • @lewislegomad It's not impossible to have 3 corners RIGHT. You will have 3 corners wrong and one correct a lot of the time. If you don't you're pretty lucky.

  • me myself and pi hey hey hey shut up and let me finish

  • Thank u so much, this helped me a lot

  • I feel like I am listening to an action movie while I watch this video.

  • You Are I Ely

  • I WRITE IT ON A PIECE OF FUCKING PAPER!

  • why the audio ?

  • a 1x1 rubik cube??!

  • i did this on my 4x4, dont have a 2x2 :)

  • my rubiks brand 2x2 just out of the box keeps popping.. comes all apart.. what do i do?

  • @Dillonzer get an eastsheen 2x2

  • @TheDrDewman actually, I think that lan lans r the best

  • I solved a 2x2 rubik's cube by the algorithms of 3x3 :D

  • i dont know why it didnt work for me?

  • @biblebable1231 it's not working for me either. I'm watching again to see if maybe it works in a very specific instance. any thoughts, PI?

  • @biblebable1231 did you be sure to rotate the top layer after you finished orienting the corner? I forgot that step, which is why it wasn't working for me.

  • I SOLVED IT! Thank you so much for posting this, it totally helped me!

  • Your vid is best so far though! It's just remembering the turns that I have a hard time with...

  • @LordVertow hes more like sheldon from the big bang theory xD

  • Remarkably similar to 3x3 algorithms

  • there's other ways to solve this that are faster then this

  • @thebossrockes This is for beginners, anyone looking for speed should be learning different, more advanced methods.

  • is it basically solving the edge pieces on a 3x3

  • But u helped me at the beggining

  • I completed it without ur help!!!!! 8)

  • Is it wrong to use the 15 step parity algorithm for the void cube to fix the 2 corner problem?

  • Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!! i cant even solve this i'm FKNN' stupiiiiiid -____-

  • @19TAWAHAP96 u think UR stupid... i cant even solve a 1x1x1!

  • aha learning how to do it on my 3x3, coz getting v-cube 2 for xmas! :D so excited and great vids, keep them up! :D

  • Thanks really needed it!!!!

  • its nevil from iCarly!

  • This is so easy if you can solve the 3x3. It's basically doing the first step and second to last step of the 3x3. Assuming you do the layer method.

  • this so funny

  • b4 watching this i could only solve 1 side, cuz my teacher has one of these and i mess with it, now i hope i can solve whole thing :D

  • @Maxillion1000 I got 0:25 on this method

  • WHAT ABOUT THE DARK SIIIIIIIIDE!?!?!?!!?

  • now my best solve is 43.06 seconds

  • i started today and im solving it in bout 2 mins

  • LOL it actually looks harder than the 3x3

  • thats what she said

  • what's with the dramatic music?

  • /watch?v=g70GTvCUBHE watch my tutorial

  • Ur voice is so gay kid

  • Thanks alot!

  • Awesome!!! Thanx!!!

  • IM CONFUSED :(

  • Hello. Thanks to you I have solved the 2x2!! But there is a problem with my 2x2. At one point I dropped it and the pieces catched on each other and I couldn't turn two of the sides but could turn the other 4. HELP!!!! (Anyways, if you find me saying this, I brought a Lanlan 2x2 off of Amazon. And it was the .com version. They couldn't ship it to me but it was sold by Icubing whis does not ship out of US I live in Canada but Magic-puzzle-cube sells internationally so i got it from them.

  • so is it bad i can solve the 3x3-6x6 and a megaminx but cant solve a 2x2 >.<

  • Comment removed

  • Is this a girl

  • can u do U R Ui Li U Ri Ui L in slow motion or slow down??? plz i need ur help :)

  • Thank you! I have solved the 2x2x2 Rubiks Cube!!! (If you are ever wondering it is on my iPod if I did not include it in my cube Collection there =D

  • Thank you so much, I can Now Solve it sub-15!!!!!!!!Iknow, its bad, but you taght me in 10 minutes!!!!THANK YOU

  • hahaa i used a 3x3x3 with duct tape on the middle pieces

  • I got mine on ebay

  • Thanks :)

  • You know that you can use the Ri, Di, R, D, algorithm to solve the top layer? Instead of what you showed in the video?

  • That was the best tutorial I've seen so far. Thank you! I finally got it! :))

  • Where can you buy those rubies cubes other then online???? Some one please answer me!!!

  • @Z0mbcc3r walmart, toys r us, something to do, target, dollar tree (depends on which dollar tree) lots more

  • @sdinh01 well i went to walmart(no 2by2) never even heard of something to do, dont own any dollar store where i live, havnt tryed target yet though... any more suggesions incase target dosnt have one?

  • @Z0mbcc3r Rubik's Cube website??....

  • solveing a 2x2 is just like solving a 3x3 cube but shorter

  • Thanks a billion thanks a lot. Cause i know how to solve the 3x3 this was almost the same and much simpler to learn. Thanks for posting this video.

  • seriously it is a 2x2x2 solve it without instructions

  • what's the name of the song you used

  • On the orienting step, if the color of the top face (in this case yellow) on the corner is facing to the front, the instead of doin Ri Di R D 4 times, you can do it's reverse two times, Di Ri D R.

  • Your making it way to complex.. I wanted to learn how to solve it faster but its like u made it harder:0 solve the first layer oriented correctly and then just play with the algorithem(SP) ....U R UI LI U RI L... You have to have a piece lined up with the corners below it and then do ^^^^ then make sure the other pieces are in the correct places and do RI DI R D to each piece while turning the U face counter clockwise

  • I can't do the last step. No matter what I do everything right, but then when I orient the last piece the white side doesn't resolve itself. What should I do?

  • @DragonMaster5622 check out dan browns 3x3 method, and watch the last step on that

  • Only a nerd would know what a algorithm is

  • Worst method ever...

  • @XProSkills it is slow but if you are trying to teach an 8 year old it is not that bad

  • thanks man, i finaly solved it ! :D

  • If you dont have a 2x2 then get a lan lan. And if this is way to easy then check out my 2x2 ortega method tutorial. It is a little harder but way faster!

  • what brand do u have?

  • If you have this but it is too easy and you feel slow then come learn the ortega method! I have a video on it! i get about 10 seconds but others can get 5 seconds. check it out!

  • i am finding this imposiblle.can u help me or something..i cant do it

  • for me the last step didn't work

  • Here are the moves for that 4x4 pattern L2,R2,U2,D2,F2,B2 No middle layers need to be turned or moved

  • When I did U-L My whole thing messed up and it was really hard to get a face with the lines D:

  • please post a video on how to memorize algorithms

  • Hey, man! Thanks a lot. Great tutorial.

    Keep up the good work.

To be honest, my cube has different colors :D ... instead of orange, I've something like pink or lila, I'm not sure. Probably my cube is a fake. :D This isn't a problem anyway.

    Thanks.

  • great tutorial, i was looking foward to make my cube done, i got all pieces right but two pieces are in wrong place fml..

  • best 2x2 tutorial i've seen

  • OHMYGOD!! I can figure out 2-5, but that 1x1x1 is just freaking me out!! o____o

  • wow thats great thanks bro

  • you should make a 1 x 1 tutorial:)

  • @cricket2892 He did.

  • nice music

  • so solving the 3x3 is pretty much like solving the 2x2?

  • @indyur1 ehm other way around ^^ solving the 2x2 is pretty much like solving the 3x3 without a few steps.

  • Eh.. Rubiks.com has a faster method in my opinion (not written by rubiks though). The oll take about 1-3 shorter algs and the pll is one alg ( every time)

  • Thanks a lot! This really helped me! :D

  • dude you have the best video out here. not only is it clean with changing from one solution to another but its easier for those who really need the help. now after watching this and realizing the two algorithms from the 3x3 i can easily do this without a video. much easier than learning 10 different algorithms for a 2x2 cube that ive seen in other videos. you my friend get a 10/10

  • thanks really helped me out.

  • You (MeMyselfAndPi)... seem to be wiser than most. Why are`nt you making a tutorial on how to solve a 5x5 arrows SUPER CUBE !!! My friends says you afraid to try anything that`s difficult.

  • @tendercuts That cube isn't even that hard, that's like a Intermediate...

  • u sound sooo gay

  • Thank ti you man i can now solve that cube.

Have seen a lot of video but you way to explain is the best.

  • i dont have white side,

    i have black side

  • For me the 3x3x3 is easier ;D

  • HAHA thumbs up for the 1 x 1 rubix cube in the top right corner of the screen xD

  • @Lethalis1234 It's hard a shell

  • in order to do the first layer you way over complicated tings. The simple Ri, Di, R, D algorithm learned in order to solve the 3x3 works easier.

  • can i also use RiF RiB2 RFi RiB2 R2 Ui to solve the last layer?

  • @uut0 thats what I used intuitively without watching any tutorials. using the UR alg until you get 2 pieces oriented, then RD the other 2. once you have all of the yellow (top) face oriented, you permute them using this a-perm :D

ps: this a-perm (Ri F Ri etc.) switches the 2 corners on the F face ;)

  • thanks!

  • Got it =D

  • so if you see a letter in an algorithm that means to do it clockwise *does it counter clockwise*

  • @MrSpeedstackingboy

Actually you are supposed to turn it counter-clockwise three times.

  • I wanna know how you do your tutorials w/o cracking up, mainly this one and the 1x1 xD

  • I didn't understand the second part, but I managed to figure it out anyways because I already knew how to solve the 3x3 rubik's cube. I now know how to solve the 2x2 with 2 algorithms, and both of them I learned from knowing how to solve the 3x3.

  • the last layer permutation doesn't seem to work for me, dunno what i'm doing wrong :s

  • the cube that you used in this video locks up?

mine is a sheng shou and never locked up.

    AND NICE TUTORIAL !

  • what if i have 4 Correct corners? o.o or huh?

  • Dude this video is SO...EPIC...

    "This concludes the tutorial."

  • do u really need a tutorial to figure out how to solve a "pocket cube"?

  • I solved it! YUPI!!! xD

  • Learn the ortega method, it's easy to learn and one of the best 2x2 methods out there.

  • NO, i have 3 correct place conners =)

  • how do you "solve" the 1x1 its stupid!!!

  • I feel like a man for being able to solve it >:D

  • Thank you for making this video! I was able to solve my 2x2 cube after watching it many times : )

  • "and B stands for the backside."

  • Sorry u suck.

  • how did he talk for 8 minutes?

  • Thahnk you!!!!! :D :D

  • Dude, you rock but I don't understand Step 2 :(

  • 7x7x7 looks like a pillow.

  • nice tutorial. very easy to follow.

  • Thank you so much for this tutorial! I was able to solve my 2x2 cube.weee! :)

  • when i do the 3d step my cube messes up... :( even thought the corner pieces are in their right corner and even though i perfom the algorithm correct (i know the algorithm from the 3x3x3 cube ,,, ) why is that happening ?????????? :(

  • Is that a 1x1 I see in the back? XD

  • 2 hard

  • THANK YOU!

Best tutorial for 2x2 on youtube! (other ones suck) xD

  • At last, a good tutorial :D

  • step 2 is abit confusing

  • I just got my 2x2x2 jumbo rubik's cube today. I applied some lubrication to it and it's still really hard to turn. How long should it take to get easier?

  • what is the fastest formula for 2x2 cube???

  • fuck the music in the backround

  • my 2x2 broke so... im usinbg my 4x4 as a 2x2!! :D

  • really nicely done video!

  • toooooooooooooooo Fast

  • in soviet russia the cube solves u!

  • @Rickeeey1000 you can buy them in just about any toy store or online

  • there is a 1x1 in the background......the 1x1 is probably the hardest to solve!

  • @CODisforCoolPeople10 t toke me two weeks to do one.

  • I was just waiting for youto say backside XD

  • @KingOSketchKomedy lol same, this kid has no life

  • I can easily solve a 3x3x3, but I can't get the 2x2x2..... GAH lol

  • i got a mini pocket cube, it keeps falling appart and the orange side is pink :S

  • @ocrimocrim7777

i think you have a eatsheen or something else

  • @pepec2001 --..--

  • @pepec2001 its EASTSHEEN not EATsheen lol

  • @wlalngxD

    Who gives a fuck!

  • where can u buy it plz reply

  • so basically if you can solve a 3x3x3 you already know how to solve a 2x2x2.

  • Epic music ftw.

  • its easy to solve it... when you get it out of box i think its made

  • Thank you :)
