Unless I've got it wrong, it's easy to stay on the dole indefinitley in the UK. I'm sure at least some of these folks are happy enough just getting a gov't check until the money runs out.

Your wrong. Unlike what the daily mail tells you, the dole is not an enviable lifestyle, its barely existing if your a young single male. Sure there are welfare queens who make a killing from social benefit payments but not your average joe, who just wants a JOB!.

I'm on the same ship. But I do "take to the streets". But the problem is, that 98% of employers will not hire people who are getting their "first real job" Which are people who have never had a job before, have no references, no nothing. To the employer, they could be opening Pandora's shitbox by hiring someone like that. They don't want to take the risk.
