  • mix it in warm water(or at least some type of liquid) and let it sit for a min or two to let it break down, if you just throw it back your body wont process is properly and youl just piss most of it out and could cause some stomach issue too. common sense i think?

  • First of all, skip the load phase. You don't need to load creatine. Anything 20 grams or more of any kind of powder in your stomach is bad, I don't care what it is, even baby powder. Loading can cause stomach upset or cramps. So just stick with 5 grams of creatine a day with plenty of water. Secondly, You don't need to cycle off creatine. Creatine is completely natural. You eat creatine by eating meat. It's a natural metabolite in your body.

  • @kraziekd im sorry, but you're not all right. even though creatine is natural and a lot of meat contains it, our body has creatine receptors which get "burned out" after a while and they need to recover. so you definately NEED to cycle it off to get better results

You do need to cycle creatine. in higher than natural levels it can destroy your kidneys. If you load it and cycle it properly,in addition to staying well hydrated, it is perfectly healthy. People like you are the idiots that get killed from taking supplements. Too much of any vitamin can even kill you.

  • Guys, wait until you are at least 16 before supplementing or even lifting heavy weights at all. Make sure you get somebody who knows what they are talking about to show how to use supplements and show you proper technique for lifting. If you don't keep proper form when using weights, you won't get much of a gain so there would be no point in taking the supplement in the first place.

  • @perker180 Eating your protein through out the day is how it should be. From morning all the way before you sleep. ex: oatmeal with pretein , egg whites, chicken breasts, etc. BUt after every work out you automatically need protein in you. The fastest way to do this is by drinking a protein shake containing atleast 20 -25 grams of protein. The best and healthiest protein is whey protein. dnt forget about ur carbs: Green Vegggies. ur Vitamins and omega 3 oil.

  • @perker180 Dude not all "oil" is bad. Olive oil is good for you. and if you didnt know the fish you eat also has omega 3 oil. Its not complicated. if ur realy into body building or just working out then this is the basic things you need to dow in order to get some results. trust me, its 40 % weight lifitng and 60% Nutrition.

  • @lezamaj7 Just remember 60% carbs 30% protien, if you're already eating this much protien don't waste your money on protien powder as your body will just send it down the pan, the last 10% is things such as your vitamins and minerals, Olive oil is for your joints so again recamended, the capsules are good enogh and cheap enough, holland and barret are great for most things and they are always doing special deals on a whole bunch of stuff including creatineso, go check them out as I do.

  • @perker180 Just remeber 60% of carbs, 30% protien and if you're all ready eating enough protien don't bother with protien pwders as your body will just throw it out and you'll be wasting your money, the laqst 10% are vitamins, minerals as for oils olive oil capsules will see you right and this is vital for your joints hope this helps.

  • @perker180 Ok, the Natural fish has the omega 3 oils. thats good to raise ur metabolism (helps burn fat). BUt the tuna fish oil that comes in the can is not good kuz its not natural. Do ur research. You want to lift naturally well all you need is: Flax seeds, Vitamins and minerals, Whey protein, Good nutrition (no saturated fats,no sugars, not too much sodium), Good rest (8 hrs of sleep) and dedication. If there were some things i said u didnt understand, then look them up nd do research

  • @lofrangollo Thats the truth guys. That is what my Pharmacist and my doctor said. Creatine helps you do extra reps in the gym, so taking it before is recommended. There is no reason to take it again afterwards when the Creatine is already in your system.

  • @efadaei take creatine 30-45 minutes before your workout. Creatine is used to hydrate your muscles so you would gain a bit of water weight but it also helps you do more reps. Take Whey protein, complex and simple carbs after your workout and you would be good to go.

  • No...less water gets in your muscle but you wont lose size of the muscle fiber. You might not do quite as much weight as before, but if you workout regularly while on creatine then you will probably do when you cycle off than before you started.

    Muscles don't just go away and I don't know where you got the idea that you're going to get fat again. That's a whole different game.

  • The first week i took 2-4 times a day 5g creatin (10-20g a day), the next 3 month every day 2-4 g of creatin followed by an month-long break. (5g of creatin is 1,1kilo of raw beef). in the highphase your weight could increase between 1-3 kilo.

  • personally for me i took my creatine and shakes after my workouts and it seemed to work well but like the clip says you must hydrate during the day with liquids as the whole basis of creatine is water retention in the muscle cells The only side effect i ever had were twitching muscles which was weird yet i think my muscles yearned for a work out by the way you young guys work on core strength first then get into the weights that way ur muscles and back can deal with the stresses of body building

  • @collathrax your impression was right it is a pre-workout supplement...I like to take arginine with it as well to help with blood flow and all with either grape juice or apple juice...the sugar in the juice will help to transport it into your blood so it can get quickly into your muscles

  • @collathrax There is so many different ways you can take creatine. I'm taking a powder right now and I take a scoop before and a scoop after. The reason I take it before is to get the blood flow and nutrients to my muscles. I take it after because mine also has glutamine in it which helps you recover for my next workout. Best of luck to you with your working out! Just remember whether you do it before or after and your working out its better than not doing anything at all

  • You should always, ALWAYS, train natural untill your body is mature. Taking supplements at 15 is not a very smart thing to do. Ofcourse, it probably wont hurt you, since creatine is very safe to use. Im just trying to remind you, consider what you're doing about 10 times, and surely ask advice from your personal trainer, a doctor or someone else who can help you with it.

  • @futb0lista7777777 pre-workout, 45 minutes before workout so you body absorbs it. Don't take it like 5 minutes before you start working. Take the Whey Protein after work out so your muscle could use that protein as the building block.

  • Weight training with creatine will slowly burn fat. Remember that muscle weighs 3 times more than fat so if your primarily using weights, you might not lose much weight, but your body fat will still decrease.

    To burn fat at the fastest rate, do weights for 15 - 30 minutes, then cardio for the second half of your work out. (I can explain why if you're interested). Cardio is KEY for losing fat. Burning calories is almost as important as the calories you're eating. Nutrition is # 1

  • absolutely! However, while just cardio will give you good muscle defenition, those muscles won't be as big as if you were weight training. It WILL show if you stick to it. 1 1/2 hrs of intense cardio is a long session, so don't do that everyday unless you're in great shape. 3 - 4 times a week is plenty.

  • Many people think to lose fat you ONLY need to eat less calories, but then your metabolism will slow down and you won't burn those calories as well. You want to have an active metabolism so still eat plenty, but in smaller meals 5 or 6 times a day. One of those meals 1 - 2 hrs before workout and 1 directly after. Throw in that intense cardio workout and you will burn many more calories. (Btw, the funnest cardio workout is sex!)

  • you wont have the same amount of adenosin tri phosphat (ATP) if you stop taking creatine, so lets say you`re only able to make 12 muscle contractions instead of 14. Loading water is a side effect.

  • Yeah I loaded for 1 week (pure creatine mono) My main concern was will bloat me ... The ONLY side effect I had was my muscles GREW and I was stronger and I recovered better. Yup it's no BS it works.
