  • you forgot the white Intel iMac when they did the switch...

  • @ma5599 true, but in fairness it looks pretty much identical externally! I left it out for some reason but I can't remember now. Probably because of the youtube 10 minute restriction at the time!

  • It's not on soundcloud :(

  • hi, i searched for pogo and found nothing

  • @ox141jf It is not released officially, Joe may have it on his youtube of soundcloud. If not, message him on here and I'm sure he will get back to you.

  • Apple has some sexy ass products... the glass and aluminum minimalist design is gorgeous..

  • Wow this deserves way more views.

  • @ximperx Thanks for the kind comment :) Its actually been getting a lot more views since the passing of Steve Jobs, I guess it generated more interest in the company history in commemoration.

  • @mvkVirtual No problem :D did it take a long time to gather all the apple product and put them in chronological order??

  • @ximperx I can't really remember how long it took to gather them all together, but I think I did it gradually over the course of about 3 days, as I first looked at the order on wikipedia, then gathered the images and referenced back as I processed them all in the video editor!

  • @ximperx wats the song called

  • Respond to this video... wats the song called

  • @armandocabrera123 I have answered this way too many times in the comments now, it is called POGO by Joe Garston. You should be able to find it on either his youtube or soundcloud, and if not im sure he will reply to your messages.

  • I guess you missed at least one product: the "Macintosh IIsi", that flat board style one, which I owned back in 96 or 97, I think

  • @slicefader Yeah I uploaded this when there was a 10 minute limit, so I did get rid of a small number of products, but only really ones I thought were similar to the ones included. I know the one you mean though !

  • steve jops rip 6.10.2011

  • @DirectiveLP RIP. A great man who will be remembered forever.

  • you forgot at 1996 steve jobs is back and in 1985 steve jobs was fired (i think) from apple

  • @lancededcena123 This video focuses on the products rather than the internals of the company and its staff. I will probably eventually do a separate video on that.

  • linux kicsit jobb

  • Really like this song, our teacher showed us this video in our photoqraphy class, whats this song called ? (:

  • @barbiemafia01 Wow thats pretty cool, why was it shown in your class then ??? And the song is called POGO and is by Joe Garston. I am not sure if he has this song available to buy but you can probably find it floating around the internet somewhere :) If not message him on youtube, im sure he will be happy to help!

  • @mvkVirtual Im in Photoqraphy 1 & idk we had a sub & he just started showinq us stuff about how technoloqy is so advanced & how it all startred, so then he brouqht this video up(: thanxx for the song!

  • @barbiemafia01 Cool :) and no problem !

  • in the movie big fat liar, i saw one man holding the computer at 4:51 :)

i guess they were advertising it....

  • U should make a new one

  • @DPCB01 I will do :)

  • iPhone 2g iPod Touch 2g

  • @danI43541 What does this comment mean ? Also just to note, the iPhone 2g never really existed, its just a nickname given to the original iPhone in reference to its 2G radio, vs the 3G radio found obviously in the iPhone 3G :)

  • @MegaKoOlKiD12345 The video was uploaded in April 2010 to celebrate Apple's bithday, and the iPhone 4 was announced 2 months later in June. So the iPhone 4 was not even announced at this point :)

  • @mootube77 I'm not sure, I recommend sending him a message here on youtube.

  • @mootube77 As far as I know, this song is not online for download. His album 'Dead ops' is available for download via iTunes, but does not contain this song. For more information on where to get the song, I suggest you contact Joe himself, youtube user @joegarston.

  • @mootube77 This has been asked in the comments before, the song used is called POGO and is by Joe Garston. Possibly check out his soundcloud to find it along with any others.

  • Wow the powermac g4 looks really good for the 20th century lol

  • @DakahriGT Indeed it does, especially back then in the age of beige boxes! xD

  • @mvkVirtual are you gonna put one up for this year or wait till the end of the year when the ipod/iphone 5 release but really what can they really change from the previous

  • Great video :) Nice work

  • thumbs up if you still have a G5 iMac

  • Apple have always been ahead of Windows... I'm watching this on Windows OS, should change to MAC one day :D

  • @Janix130 Yeah, I have several macs but they are older models, so I still use a windows based PC as my primary machine. As long as you treat it correctly and know how to work with issues, it is not too much of a problem! I would still love to jump into Mac full time though, and be able to be part of that innovation, design and generally better OS!

  • @mvkVirtual Totally agree. I am looking for buying Mac Book pro 17'. It has good I7 Pentium processor, 4 GB of DDR3 1333 Mhz ram, and it has a good graphics card. Great for gamers, and for designers.

  • @mvkVirtual what older verions do u hav...can i hav 1

  • @JonathanInYourFace I have an iMac g4, PowerMac G4 and soon to be an iMac G5. But no sorry, you cannot have any!

  • Ahhh yes. Macintosh. Ever since 1984, I have always stuck with Apple. Every computer that they make just kept getting better and better. My Macbook Air, and my Mac Pro, have always worked out for me. No problems. No viruses. Just me and my computer. There are only two products that I own by Microsoft. Microsoft Office, and Xbox 360. In 1998, I got a PC with windows. I hated it and I went back to Macintosh.

  • wtf they had that kinda stuff in 1999?!

  • @xTheDarkSide100x Yes indeedy! Apple really were ahead of their time around then!

  • im watching this on a mac!

  • @crazysquare965 Very nice! But the question is, which Mac ?

  • @mvkVirtual macbook pro

  • @crazysquare965 Very nice!

  • Not to be mean or condescending or anything, but there are a few that you missed, like the Macintosh LCIII and the PowerBook 165c.

  • @ewleonardspock Yeah I realise this, I had to cut a few out to fit time constraints and the such. I will do a 1976-2011 one next year which will be sure to include these missing models!

  • @mvkVirtual Ohh, ok. That makes sense. I look forward to seeing a new one!

  • the chaild voice sed fack me in (question mark)

  • @koki334 Lol, I assure you it doesn't :)

  • you forgot the apple bandi pippin

  • @evilmaker89 I missed it because of time restrictions, plus the fact that it was actually produced and sold by Bandai, so it was not a true apple product despite the components. It was also not branded with the apple logo, only a few apple related names for peripherals.

Thanks for noticing, and I hope you enjoyed the video!

  • @mvkVirtual And now, we add iPod Nano 6G with touch screen, iPod Shuffle 4G with buttons and iPod Touch 4G with FaceTime

  • @IanEduardoMeneses Indeed. Expect a new version of this video NEXT april 1st!

  • And whats the 1st one?

  • @IanEduardoMeneses The first song is POGO - also by @joegarston. If you message him I am sure he will let you have both songs or come to an arrangement. Thanks for watching! :)

  • @mvkVirtual Hey, the song is basically a remix of a song called synet symphonic and upular by a great producer called pogo, hence why i called my mix pogo, its a tribute of the two songs really.. he gets all the credit lol

  • @joegarston Well, the guy likes this version, and so do I :)

  • Whats the 2nd song?

  • @IanEduardoMeneses If you mean the one that started at 9:22; the song is called Bounce, and is by youtube user joegarston. Message him for further information on the track!

  • Now we add iPhone 4

  • @mackieflann Yup, iPhone 4, and the new unibody Mac Mini.

  • I love how this video even works in html5 on the safari web browser on the iPad! Most videos are still only in flash!

  • @Dugm94 haha, it just goes to show! YouTube is owned by Google too, so you would of thought anything to do with apple would get lowest priority ;)

  • Best video I have found about the history of Apple, good job!

  • @Dugm94 Thanks!

  • @mvkVirtual Thats okay, keep it up!

  • thx for the vid man im doing a report for skool apple this helped alot ;)

  • @iphonerules2009 No problem, I'm glad it was helpful! I actually learned allot while I was making it, my knowledge was only really good from the iMac G3 onwards haha!

  • @mvkVirtual lol :)

  • Thanks for the vid. Apple all the way

  • @koolkid986 No problem. I had a lot of fun learning more about Apple as I made this video!

  • Heyy, awesome vid, apple FTW!! thanks for using the toons ! :)
