and why the hell is it that everything the Romans wrote is called "History", while everything written by someone else during the same time is considered "legend" or "mythology"?

Why, you ask?

Because historians have a hard-on for the romans (which is a little worrying, considering the sick sexual practices that the romans were known for) and have chosen to adopt the roman view of history and the world. This is because those in power are in love with the roman ideal, and wish to promote it.

They regularly accused the Celts of practicing human sacrifice, even though there is little evidence to show that they really did, but even if they were right, how is it any different if you sacrifice someone in a colusseum instead of on an altar?

And in any case, their history begins and ends with slaughter and mass rape. They had no room to call ANYONE a barbarian. The evil of their deeds will live forever as a lesson to all decent people.

Piss on the Romans. EVERYTHING about their culture was stolen from some other culture. Read their own histories and if you can still call them great after reading all that, it might count for something. They were the most arrogant race that ever lived, and also the most dishonourable. several thousands of years after they were conquered, they are still famed the length and breadth of the land for their cruelty, which is all they were ever really good at.
