valve only makes source engine games (and i think the engine itself too)

@adir907 God you are stupid. You need atleast 1 source game to play (L4Ds don't count), but you need to get the certain game to spawn the models and see them.

e.g. To spawn Sniper or Spy, you'll need TF2.

The best deal is Gmod + CSS and Orange Box, or if you don't mind not getting CSS just get Gmod and Orange Box. That's the best deal you can get for the best price. You'll get all the source games you need to be fully mounted.
