Schwabb ( silly ass name btw ) surprised Söderström.. and had time to drop both gloves + Söderström had a hard time trying to get Schwabbs mask since he didnt get the chance to drop both gloves. Kinda hard to fight back when the other guy still had the mask on innit? I guess Tommy was a much better goalie anyways.. he had some magical years back then.
Unfortunately, that's the best thing Devils fans remember about Schwab. He only played a couple games for them after that, and his second stint with the team was just a blip on the radar screen.
