For those, who don't know, what I am talking about, and ESPECIALLY for those, who don't see anything wrong with the picture, just google for "Are Some People Just Visually Dull?"
It won't take much for Abbott to convince the Australian people that he is a much better choice than Krudd. The GFC is not over, there is still a chance of more pain later. Anthropogenic climate change is not fact the science is far from settled, the extra tax system (ETS) will not make the slightest bit of difference to the environment. It will however line the pockets of the new beaurocracy.
It'll take a very great deal for Abbott to convivnce the Australian people (especially Australian youth) that a 'lame, gay, churchy , loser' or any of his neo-fascists is a better choice than a reasonable, democratic stateman like Kevin Rudd. The science on climate change is settled; it's just the vested interests are better funded. I thought you 'liberals' liked 'great big new taxes', like the GST. Of course you dithered for a while and then just plain lied about it, but I'm sure you like it.
So... that would make him a 'lame, gay, churchy... winner', then! Don't you agree? You don't really understand Australian politics, do you? Kevin rudd didn't win the election; the Labor Party did. We don't vote for presidents here. What religion is Kevin Rudd... who knows/cares? What religion was Paul Keating? He's catholic, like Abbott. Did you know that? Probably not. He isn't defined by his religion like 'Captain Catholic' is.
In a country where 92% of people don't go to church, 67% of people don't like the idea of Abbott as prime minister; who would want a weirdo that almost became a catholic priest as PM? LAbor will win the next federal election (1st term incumbents always do), the 'Liberal' party will be thrown into turmoil (again) & ultimately Turnbull will emerge to lead a reformed, more liberal, 'Liberal' party. Tony Abbott is what cannabalistic vampires would call a 'sacrificial lamb'. He is to be slaughtered.
Yep, they haven't done anything like the 'liberals'; on the contrary, they've restored our international reputation, survived the GFC, got the Murray-Darling flowing, dismantled work-'choices', started to get money flowing into essential national infrastructure strangled by the 'liberals' for over a decade, commenced rebuilding the education system (do you know what an 'infrastructure-bottleneck' is & who created them) raised pensions, & DIDN'T start any wars...etc, etc. Nothing at all, wanker.
