  • Even though Barnes is mostly screaming, it still sounds pretty good. I love this song.

  • Dynamo Duo.

  • Barnes is rubbish Farnham gold

  • @MsButterfly1955 thats a bit harsh ... both great talents and even though I am a die-hard Farnham fan, it is an original Cold Chisel song and Jimmy is a legend

  • @MsButterfly1955 Just my opinion some opinions are harsh. Cold chisel was great but Barnes in 2012 live is to put it not too harshly, a disappointment. see recent feedback on ticketmaster re his NZ tour with Dragon and Hello Sailor I am not alone in my negative critique of his performances.

  • @MsButterfly1955 I bet Farnham would disagree

  • BRING BACK THE MULLET!!

  • barnsy ,the original and the best. check chisels ,sing to me or four walls barnsy sings just fine

  • Barnsy screams, Farnsy sings

Would be a great tour title too xD

  • Was this at one of Farnhams "Last Time" concerts?

  • @wazwazz37 JF never said he was retiring, he just wasnt going to play the big arena's anymore ... wish people would do a bit of research before they make comments!

  • Barnsey doesn't hit a bad note. he's singing it like a man! This is a song about love from a blokes point of view, hence why Barnsey and Ian Moss are the best at singing it!!!

  • they might not sound as good as they use to but have these two Aussie icon in a concert tour and you would be certain to sell every show in a matter of hours. of course you might through in cold chisel and little river band in the mix then everyone would have one hell of a concert experience

  • it may be a "shocking note", but i bet he smashed more girls than anyone in aus that night

  • Sorry pple , I know Ill probably get shot 4 this remark but um gonna say it anyway , the VOICE from OZZ my favourite singer 4eva JOHNNY FARNHAM dont need to do no duets with anybody , especially not with Barnsey . Listening and watching Barnsey sing in this clip killed the song totally....its the truth and u know it.....Farnsey fan frm NZ......

  • haha they didnt get a chance to turn his mike down here like they do to him every other time,,,john got drownd out

  • @JIMMYF4N but it is still the 2 greatest Aussie performers of all time. and a fantastic song

  • reminds us all of how Aussies stick together...especially lately with floods and cyclones!...classics will never go out of fashion....this is still the best sort of music....would love to see these guys in concert again

  • good god.........how did I miss this one.

  • love these legends, they steal my heart away ;) ... thanks for the music and the memories RIP Steve

  • RIP Steve Prestwich....Aint nobody gonna steal this heart away.......

  • 2 aussie icons singing together and singing an fucking classic. this sort of brings tears to my eyes. (no they didn't butcher it like Uhriah Heep) it because John Farnham and Jimmy make an awesome duo. would love to see them live in one concert

  • I met the pair of them. Farnsey is a great guy and Barnesy is really cool

  • When Farnsy says "blown away" I am actually blown away!

  • Absolute classic. What a duo John & Jimmy. Keep rocking

  • We Aussies are soooo lucky. Bloody Victorians are even luckier.

  • F*****g Classic!

  • Barnsey & Farnham @ Doodli, I'd like to see that! A couple of Aussies.

  • Barnsey & Farnham @ Doodli, I'd like to see that!

  • how aussie can you get, john farnham, jimmy barnes, singing when the war is over, an hes in a dry-as-a-bone cant get mcuh better

  • AMAZING

  • Farnesy and Barneys lol

  • Classic Farnsy and Barnsy

  • i love u so much

  • under the southern cross awesome to watch that concert

  • great duo. Farnsey is clean and has power up top, Barnesy is the epitome of rockn roll frontman. Neither can top the other, they're just too different! And no mere mortal can reproduce either!!!!

  • @QuinnBand great call

  • I think this may have been Expo 88. I vaguely recall watching Johnny Farnham... I was only 4

  • LONG LIVE THE MULLET!!!!!!!!

  • is this expo 88?

  • John Farnham Jimmy Barnes should do a 6 hour concert with each other i would pay anything to sit up front and listen to the 2 best power known singers in Australia

  • @Msizzyblue

me too and I'm almost the same age as John !

  • @Msizzyblue Me too! Me too!! It would be AWESOME!!!

  • @Msizzyblue I'd be standing in front of you!!

  • @jimincairns ohh well have to see about that lol

  • @Msizzyblue ..If you're little...you can stand in front of me, then!

  • @Msizzyblue

I strongly disagree....it should be 47 hour concert!!!!!

  • @Msizzyblue You would need to invite Ian Moss, Glenn Shorock and Brian Cadd to have a full book. To have all 5 sing just 1 song together would be better than any other event I could imagine. Put Clapton and Santana on guitar and you would think you was in heaven.

  • @jhpowlton OMFG yes best idea ever!

  • @Msizzyblue Only 6 hours?

  • farnham over sings this song, he sucks all the emotion out of it

  • I agree mean0machine0.... farnham nearly destroys this song.

  • Great duet! Great Aussies!

  • i love this version because of the lead guitarist - rambo garcia? i think his name is-

  • Nah mate, sorry Brett Garsed :) He was born in my town :P

  • Thanks for that, Brett Rambo' Garsed. What a town to produce a COol guy like that..

  • ha ha love the matching mullets!! I think John Farnham sings this song better than Jimmy Barnes. Jimmy is always a screamer! lol Two aussie legends!!

  • Was called Under The Southern Cross concert. Still have the whole concert on tape......some great acts playing on it!

  • I so cant belive John Farnham's voice is still the same now if not better I'm so glad I'm going to four out six of his perth upcoming shows....

  • Bret Garsed on lead guitar, awesome performance from a brilliant Australian guitarist. The singing was good too.

  • dry as a bone

  • why does johnny wear that trenchcoat lol it looks gay

  • Isn't that an aussie thing..lol don't forget this was the 80's almost everyting looked gay back then..lol I love this song it is appropriate for this day too.

  • it was the 80's everyone looked shit

  • its a drizabone

  • AWESOME

  • just bloody awesome!

  • What a dueo, can't be beaten these too together but farnham as usual stills the show but hey his the best. Brandon Beard Perth WA

  • Favorited! Thanks for this.

  • Easter 1988 I was a lucky enuff Yank to see these two perform this together on Bondi Beach for the Turn Back the Tide benefit show to help save the Sydney beaches. What an amazing day that was!
