Interesting, but... (someone has probably already asked) why was this eternal life not passed on to animals? All animals die eventually. I would imagine that few if ANY animals are aware (have been taught) that they are "going to die." (perhaps chimps) So if animals don't believe (or "know") that they will die, why DO they? I am amazed that there is so much discussion about this from so many apparently intelligent people. This is complete and utter nonsense. Death is certain. If you want to use the Bible as evidence, take a look at what God said to Adam in Genesis 3:19-21. He said that 'dust you are and to dust you will return' and 'The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever'.

I wasn't meant to be unkind- this person believes that cell degradation is an unnatural thing, which is simply untrue. His entire argument is based on the idea that correlation implies causation, the principle that contrapositives work forward and in reverse. It's not true. If a person honestly believes that they have discovered how death and aging works, and that it is simply through exposure to death (a ridiculous and baseless idea), they need either help or education.
If you place a child in an environment where it is adequately nourished and raised, albeit alone, you should not expect it to live forever; that simply doesn't make sense. Anyways, according to your logic, exposure to the idea of death causes dead (for some strange reason). But eating requires death. Vegetables, meat, etc. are all the result of killing. So therefore it is impossible for a person to continue living because they need to eat, which requires exposure to death, or else starvation.
@theHurtfulTurkey Science already knows the human body is designed the live forever. Science has made many attempts in the lab to keep the body alive. We can even keep the physical body alive after death, but there is no consciousness in the body and it will only run straight into a wall. Michael, your argument grounds it's "science" in the idea that correlation =causation. Just because a child is introduced to death does not mean the person introducing the concept will die, nor will the child. Death is natural, just as there is no perpetual motion machine possible. Cells break down, tissues become aged, and people die not because their brain tells them to (as such, a brain cannot simply tell your cells to die, and that's a simple concept).

I think you might have miswrote the first sentence of your second paragraph. I never said you can't be aware of death. A child will learn of death just from the animal kingdom. The child needs to be taught that the natural laws are different for the animal kingdom and the human kingdom. Animals do not get the gift of eternal life, only human beings.

@CavalloDiSpade No. That act does not cause the child to have to die, only the parent or parents have to die. The child is still given the chance to abandon the belief in death, but normally once the belief in death is passed to a child, the child will believe its parents and die. This is why the death of the person who taught the child is mandatory.

There was nothing created in this life that can harm you. Death was designed for people who wanted out of life. Nature does not trap you here. The religous have promoted death as something that has to happen to people. That is the great lie. However, if you plant the seed of death into a child, you are the one that must die. Science has proven that human cells when placed in the right conditions live forever. We live in a time where our bodies are so toxic we die on an average of 75 years. The mind is extremely powerful and no one has challenged the idea that the body can live forever - we just believe what we are told. Until the free will attaches, around age twelve, a child is the same as any animal in the animal kingdom, they have no free will. The actual cause of the death of any child below that age would be found in the bloodline and the behavior of the parents. Nature is under no obligation to protect the child of a believer in death. If the parents had not passed the belief in death to their child, nature could very well be giving the parent a chance to not pass death to their child, and renain in life.

If you want to use the Bible as evidence, take a look at what God said to Adam in Genesis 3:19-21. He said that 'dust you are and to dust you will return' and 'The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. While I truly believe that our thoughts shape reality I have one problem with this video...how do animals die then? They are way more natural than us humans and yet they still die. I guess it's from the cold or lack of food? Perhaps I answered my own question, perhaps not. If you place a child in an environment where it is adequately nourished and raised, albeit alone, you should not expect it to live forever; that simply doesn't make sense. Anyways, according to your logic, exposure to the idea of death causes dead (for some strange reason). But eating requires death. Vegetables, meat, etc. are all the result of killing. So therefore it is impossible for a person to continue living because they need to eat, which requires exposure to death, or else starvation.

Michael, your argument grounds it's "science" in the idea that correlation =causation. Just because a child is introduced to death does not mean the person introducing the concept will die, nor will the child. Death is natural, just as there is no perpetual motion machine possible. Cells break down, tissues become aged, and people die not because their brain tells them to (as such, a brain cannot simply tell your cells to die, and that's a simple concept).

The child is still given the chance to abandon the belief in death, but normally once the belief in death is passed to a child, the child will believe its parents and die. This is why the death of the person who taught the child is mandatory.

There was nothing created in this life that can harm you. Death was designed for people who wanted out of life. Nature does not trap you here. The religous have promoted death as something that has to happen to people. That is the great lie. However, if you plant the seed of death into a child, you are the one that must die. That is pure power. We all had a fair chance to avoid death. I used my chance wisely. Most people alive at this moment are the walking dead. Let the dead bury their dead.

Science has proven that human cells when placed in the right conditions live forever. We live in a time where our bodies are so toxic we die on an average of 75 years. The mind is extremely powerful and no one has challenged the idea that the body can live forever - we just believe what we are told. Napolean Hill said 'Whatsoever the mind can conceive and believe - you (and your body) will achieve - in this case it is death. If human cells can live forever, then death is a learned behaviour.

We are on the same page with the power of the mind and the power of words. What science keeps missing is that there are firm laws at work in this life. If there were no natural laws that trump what human beings do, we would have slavery always and a world run by the gun. Death is a learned behavior just as religion is a learned behavior. The slave master watches your every comment to steal your crown and drag you into death. The bible refers to death as the beast, the beast never fills.

Until the free will attaches, around age twelve, a child is the same as any animal in the animal kingdom, they have no free will. The actual cause of the death of any child below that age would be found in the bloodline and the behavior of the parents. Nature is under no obligation to protect the child of a believer in death. If the parents had not passed the belief in death to their child, nature could very well be giving the parent a chance to not pass death to their child, and renain in life.
