@jackassassain No, but I would love to! This is probably my favorite gun. That and the M1 Garand, but I am fortunate enough to own a real one of those. I would LOVE to own a real BAR, and I might once I am out of college... we'll see if I am able to locate one by then. (about 1 year to go!)
@bubba85715 Not trying to sound personal, but how do u have the money to buy all this stuff lol? and BTW idk if i u know, but Ohio Ordinacnce makes the BAR in Semi Auto. i think they bumped the price up to 4000 tho, it use to be 3500. but they seem to be the only way to get one these days. i LOVE WW2 stuff, mostly German, but the BAR is still my fav gun of all time.
@jackassassain i have shot the hunting version best gun ever i was makeing 8inch groups at 200 yards so i guess the army version will do the same but sadly they are way out of my price range
DUDE! THATS SEXY! My granps was in Keora(MissSpelt) and carryed the thing. Saved his life his mates moved foward and a guy in the trench tryed to get him with a knife then... BOOM HEADSHOT!!! Blew that mofo's head off. The guy was a really good shot. 48 out of 50 200yd I guess thats why he is still alive.
My general response, is that you should try shooting at friends w/ a real gun. How much fun do you think you'd have with that? I would say not too much, since you'd kill them all, (or be killed!).
Why are paint ball guns so expensive? Some of those are multi-thousand dollar guns, too.
If you like the sport, that's why you buy the nice gear. It's ok to own nice guns and airsoft guns! Trust me.
not really, the BAR replica is about $3,500 and a original full auto BAR goes around the price range of $38,000, so youre totally wrong on that my friend
the fact that they're also offering a bipod and carrying handle free for pre-orders is tempting. I'd really like to see some reviews and performance in the near future.
Very cool. It's a much more affordable version. With that said, trust me when I say that there is still a reason one is $1100 and one is $300. Obviously it's smarter to purchase the cheaper gun in most cases, but don't expect it to perform as well as a VFC.
VFC is likely the best AEG company out there. The quality is insane for airsoft...
But, it is good to see another (cheaper) version of the gun released.
VFC is expensive for both internals AND externals. The gun is crafted via CNC machinery, and it's completely unmatched. I've never held an airsoft gun quite like VCF AEGs. Very, very realistic.
im hoping to get one for my b-day, but to the person below me it comes with the bipod, carrying handle, sling, and 2 mags period. i think. not just for pre-order.
Alright, I just misunderstood what you were saying. I thought you were one of those "Go buy a real gun" guys... Personally, I enjoy owning both real and airsoft guns. I haven't skirmished in quite a while, but I don't plan on letting the BAR go.. it's uncommon and expensive. Looks good next to my real guns anyways... Thx for the comment.
Yeah, it's pretty cool. If you want another gun like it, the STG44 is also pretty cool, it's all metal and can have a wood stalk. The only thing with both is they are heck of expensive.
@USSZim I wouldn't buy the STG44 just yet as the need to fix the stock problem, it wobbles ALOT, no kidding, a friends has one cuz hes a WWII junky and the only problem is the stock, and sadly we haven't found a way yet to fix it. We were told by AGM to just tighten the screw on it but it still wobbles so......just wait until a newer model comes out to get it.
You are understating the VFC BAR by saying "Top of the Line". That gun is AMAZING! It is they best airsoft gun I have ever fired. Its a little over 1000$. So damn good looking...mhhhm......
That sir is an amazing weapon and you are extremely lucky to own one. I have been on the fence whether or not to purchase one myself, but after really thinking about it... I have come to realize that I would baby it too much and not even field it. I would be afraid to damage it or for anything to happen to it. The BAR has always been a favorite of mine. A fully automatic .308 is rather appealing to me. If I were to have fought in WW2, This would have been my weapon of choice.
Would love to... but there are a couple problems...
For one, the real gun requires a class 3 license. These are very expensive and also allow the gov. to search your home without notice, at any time. (You need this lisence because the gun is full auto)..
The second problem, is that the gun itself will cost about 15 - 20 THOUSAND bucks. I am not kidding about that. Full auto guns, let alone WW2 full auto guns, come with quite a price tag... you can thank Clinton for that one.
you dont need a class 3 license the dealer needs the license. they do all paper work to transfer the firearm. you do the paper work that qualifies you to own it.
You are correct about semi-auto firearms. You don't need any license to purchase one, just a quick back ground check w/ the FBI... However, you are incorrect to say that you don't need a class 3 license to own a full-auto firearm. In today's America, you unfortunately have to have the class 3 if you want to own full auto (some states don't allow it period...). Trust me, I know. I am always going into gun shops, and this is a well known fact. Not worth disputing it. Look it up.
are normally referred to Title 2 classifications. The National Firearms act of 1934 prohibits the civilian population from purchasing, or owning a machine gun without Government approval. The Federal Government charges $200.00
US dollars for a tax stamp allowing the purchase of a firearm that
meets this criteria. You must be able to follow these instructions:
i live in texas and at the local gun shop the owner told me you dont have to have a license here you just have to pay taxes for each fully automatic rifle at the end of the year
I actually contacted VFC about the same issue. They responded that they are not planning on making any more mag styles for the gun... I would have liked to see some non-winding mags. They are more reliable.
You are correct. But you have to remember what the guns are used for. Real firearms are used for target shooting and self defense.
Airsoft is used for a fun sport, in which you can shoot your friends and not kill them - so to speak.
Paintball guns get over $1000 too, but no one compares them to real guns... it makes no sense to compare airsoft to real guns, either. The only similarity is the looks... that doesn't mean airsoft should not be expensive.
Sorry buddy may be a stupid question, is this the full production model or the limited edition one ( the one that came out way before the larger scale production model). I'ts a beauty how does it handle?, good range?
Thanks for the comment, sorry for the late response... didn't see it.
This is not one of the limited edition models, those were extremely difficult to get your hands on, and they were pretty much gone the minute they came out.
This model is still very expensive, however, and from my knowledge, it runs just as well as the limited edition model. Just doesn't have the special number marking on it (1-20)
This gun is awesome to say the least, very fun to shoot :)
It's a matter of finding the time and day... being in college makes it hard. Not to mention, my buddy works 40 + hours a week, so he has to have the energy for it, as well.
But to answer you, yes, eventually we will have a vid of them firing up.
I wouldn't do it. Your length is not long enough, and the thickness of the M14 is off. You most likely won't like the final look of the gun, I do not recommend it.
well if it really is rare im really lucky cuz my local airsoft shop has one that one display and you can buy hint hint. If you wat it go ahead cuz im never gnna spend 1,200 on a airsoft gun
We had the gun chronoed and it came out to be 300fps - 315 fps. You can easily upgrade it to shoot hotter, but people really do not realize that FPS is not as important as they think. What really helps instead, is to stick a tightbore barrel in the gun.
The battery it takes is a large-type. Preferably 9.6v
If it's $160, I am betting that it's an M14. Probably an AGM or something along those lines. I have not seen any M1 Garands go for that price, so I doubt it is one.
The M14 is not a bad gun however, you will enjoy it : )
I will do that when we get the chance... been so busy w/ work and an upcoming vacation. Eventually we'll get a firing test for all the guns up though.
Yes it is. That is why you won't see many out there. I was told at the time that this gun is scarce here in America. Less than 10 were in the states last I heard, but I'm sure that number is closer to 100+ by now... (I'm assuming so of course...)
I should have pointed this out in the video, not sure why I didn't.
The gun only has 2 modes. Safe and full auto. There is NO semi-auto on this gun OR on the real steel 1918A2 B.A.R. Look it up, I'm not lyin!
The switch is on the left side of the reciever, just about the trigger. If you google BAR models, you will see a more clear picture of this. I will eventually do a movie on the guns being test fired, so I will make sure to point out the switch mechanics.
Also! The real-steel 1918A2 BAR had 2 different RPM settings. BOTH were full auto, but one was around 400 rpm while the other ranged from 650-800ish.. I'm not exaclty sure on the rates, but I do know it had 2 separate ones.
Now, the ORIGINAL 1918 BAR (not used in ww2 much if at all) had semi-auto. The A2 DOES NOT!
No prob man, it's hard to tell how someone is talking w/ text. That's why I took it for granted that you were being stupid... I know you were just playin around tho, so it's all good... I would normally say the same thing to friends and ppl I know, if they had said something like that. We're cool though, thanks for enjoying the vids.
If it was meant as a joke that's fine... problem is, you don't know anymore w/ how ppl are on youtube... many times it is a kid trying to be stupid for whatever reason... any insult or stupid comment they can concieve they will say.
I take it back since you were doing it in good humor.
if you make any more of these videos could you please leve the website to find it in the discription

I wouldn't do it. Your length is not long enough, and the thickness of the M14 is off. You most likely won't like the final look of the gun, I do not recommend it.
bubba85715 3 years ago
well if it really is rare im really lucky cuz my local airsoft shop has one that one display and you can buy hint hint. If you wat it go ahead cuz im never gnna spend 1,200 on a airsoft gun
1airplane21 3 years ago
I once said the same thing. Then before you know it, I bought one.
Thing is, I paid a lot less for mine. ($830) Still not cheap, but waaay better than paying $1200...
bubba85715 3 years ago
kapowwe sells it for 1,200

how do u know thath it is 315 fps and wat kind of battery goes in there like alarge type or mini type
bass1777 3 years ago
We had the gun chronoed and it came out to be 300fps - 315 fps. You can easily upgrade it to shoot hotter, but people really do not realize that FPS is not as important as they think. What really helps instead, is to stick a tightbore barrel in the gun.
The battery it takes is a large-type. Preferably 9.6v

that gun is amazing man, I am a huge world war 2 fan and cannot wait until I get me one!

StrikeThrough7 3 years ago
ur getting an m1 garand where which one is electric or gbb
1airplane21 3 years ago
I think its electric but im not sure it might be gas powered
StrikeThrough7 3 years ago
If it's $160, I am betting that it's an M14. Probably an AGM or something along those lines. I have not seen any M1 Garands go for that price, so I doubt it is one.
The M14 is not a bad gun however, you will enjoy it : )

ak47grenadier 3 years ago
I will do that when we get the chance... been so busy w/ work and an upcoming vacation. Eventually we'll get a firing test for all the guns up though.
bubba85715 3 years ago
2 questions, 1 How much did it cost u? & 2, What is the fps?
ak47grenadier 3 years ago
probably around 1,200 (unless i'm confusing this with the other brad that is 3500) and alot!
redtail5 3 years ago
they run about 1200 and they shoot abour 430-460
leonkennedy74 3 years ago
This gun sells usually for $1200.
VFC is the BEST BAR made to-date (for airsoft) so there is no better brand that is electric.
The FPS on this gun is 300-315 fps STOCK. Obviously I can upgrade it if I want (no hurry) but I have no idea where the whole 430+ fps came from...
bubba85715 3 years ago
why not just buy a REAL m1 garand, im figuring you spent 1000 dollars on that thing which is how much an m1 costs
Chillinhawk 3 years ago
...But... I DO own a REAL M1 Garand...
Please see other videos.
bubba85715 3 years ago
Yes it is. That is why you won't see many out there. I was told at the time that this gun is scarce here in America. Less than 10 were in the states last I heard, but I'm sure that number is closer to 100+ by now... (I'm assuming so of course...)
bubba85715 3 years ago
Christ, not only is this gun rare, but its also very expensive

nice browning automatic rifle (aka BAR)
shotbydalonewolf 3 years ago
Ok, this should make more sense:
1918 B.A.R. Full Auto, Semi Auto, Safe.
1918 B.A.R A1 Full Auto, Semi Auto, Safe.
1918 BAR A2 FULL AUTO -- 2 different rates of fire. Slow and fast. + Safe.
1918 BAR A3 Civilian Version, Semi-auto only. +Safe.
That sums them up roughly when it comes to the selective fire options.
I have the 1918 A2 BAR, thus making sense why it's full-auto only.
bubba85715 3 years ago
thanks for the video on the tm m14 i just might buy that gun.
trampballs1 3 years ago
ok how do you switch from semi to full automatic because that is pn the gun as well
beaglebbgun 3 years ago
I should have pointed this out in the video, not sure why I didn't.
The gun only has 2 modes. Safe and full auto. There is NO semi-auto on this gun OR on the real steel 1918A2 B.A.R. Look it up, I'm not lyin!
The switch is on the left side of the reciever, just about the trigger. If you google BAR models, you will see a more clear picture of this. I will eventually do a movie on the guns being test fired, so I will make sure to point out the switch mechanics.
bubba85715 3 years ago
you lie!
beaglebbgun 3 years ago
I'm assumming you are joking! If not, tell me what functions the 1918 *A2* BAR had for its fire selector.
Don't confuse the A2 model with the A1 or newly released A3. They each function differntly (fire-selector wise)!
bubba85715 3 years ago
The A2 DOES NOT!
bubba85715 3 years ago
so like what your saying that different versions of the B.A.R. that have selective fire?
beaglebbgun 3 years ago
this gun costs about 1,300 something damn
snipingace34 3 years ago
agian im sorry i did NOT mean it as in insult plus i love the vids all of them so lets forget that?
trampballs1 3 years ago
No prob man, it's hard to tell how someone is talking w/ text. That's why I took it for granted that you were being stupid... I know you were just playin around tho, so it's all good... I would normally say the same thing to friends and ppl I know, if they had said something like that. We're cool though, thanks for enjoying the vids.
bubba85715 3 years ago
hey i was just messing and by the way im not 12. sorry that you dont have a sense of humor!
trampballs1 3 years ago
If it was meant as a joke that's fine... problem is, you don't know anymore w/ how ppl are on youtube... many times it is a kid trying to be stupid for whatever reason... any insult or stupid comment they can concieve they will say.
I take it back since you were doing it in good humor.
