I agree. With a few exceptions (Dallas, Tampa Bay, Anaheim, and San Jose come to mind), I think that the NHL needs to sit there and bring back both the Jets and Nordiques.
And what is so damn stupid is that he talks about wanting a stronger league finance wise. Those floundering teams in weak hockey markets are the problem, the cancer in the economics within the league. Get rid of the weak American teams, relocate them to strong Canadian markets, and that will fix the problem with not generating enough revenue.
For a little while it's popular untill the novellty wears off. After that, no one cares because it is in a market where the majority of people do NOT give two shits about hockey. Meanwhile, the sport has NEVER been more popular in Canada.
