@cdude100 I bought an 85 last year for $1000. They absolutley refuse to die...prob one of the best trucks ever made. Mine has 328,000 and still kicking!
@steffidude well i dont know about that ..i have a 77 f 150 with well over 300k and still works fine..look around the net at 2 ford vans that have over a million miles on them..or the little old lady from florida who owns a 64 comet since new and it has 600 k on it..or a guy who owns a 72 or so mustang with i think a million on it ,,,my buddy has a 67 merc wagon with 425 k..american cars and trucks can and do go the distance
thats cool. So, my 83 4x4 was about 6500 bucks. I have the 83 Single cab 4x, Deluxe edition, chrome package with red trim. The orig. own died and I inherited the truck, and I'm not complainin... these things run forever.
had one of these in brown it was an 86 last year of the 720, had 400,000 miles when we sold it, still ran great too!!! my dad just wanted a newer truck so we bought a newer dodge ram 50 what a mistake that was!!!!!!
the ram olny made it to 100,000 miles before falling apart, damn i miss that nissan!!
get a versa on the cash for clunkers get a old piece of shit for $500 or less trade it on a base model versa (9,999) and you come out even less than 6k =)

@jfwalston you would never get that many miles from any american car or truck! Datsun and Nissan last forever.

This is back when people would sometimes buy a truck just for simple, cheap transportation. Not true anymore.

This may have aired in 1984, but this ad covers the new for 1985 models. I would estimate this ad had aired between September and December, 1984.

very much so cause i label my videos based on the year they aired so auto ads yes most likely it is advertising the next model year

Yours must be one of the last, as Nissan shelved the old 720 series in favor of the D21 aka "Hardbody" series later that year.
