laak raises preflop,that means about his range:77+,AJ+,maybe KQ,,the only hand from this range antonius was better was AJ!I think his call was absolutely great!
not really, antonius didn't have to put him on a king. he wouldn't make the value bet on the river with just aq. his range was limited to aces, set kings, queens and air. jacks and Ts don't fire 3 times on that board, (and patrick had a T). and if u think about it ak doesnt make such a huge value bet unless if you're dwan. so i think from laaks line antonius put him on an inconsistent story i.e. air most of the time
also laak had been checking river alot in that session with hands like AA or AK. Its possible his range was super tight or just air, patrik guessed air and was right.

Patrik reduced his range to one hand (KK) and made the call, he wouldnt have bet that much on the riv if he had KK since Patrik didnt show any strength (what had could PA call with)

I think if Laak bet less on the river it would've looked like a genuine hand, but the way Antonius was acting in that hand, i think he would've just called anyway! Only way i see laak saving money is checking behind on the river and hope Antonius missed a flush draw or and Laaks Ace high was good...

Do you know how he knows Laak is bluffing? Easy : at 3:18, at the turn, Laak makes a chip fall on the table and don't put it back in his tower of chips. It means he is controling his movements and didnt though before to control that one. Antonius undertand there that Laak will bluff until the end.. ;)

not really, antonius didn't have to put him on a king. he wouldn't make the value bet on the river with just aq. his range was limited to aces, set kings, queens and air. jacks and Ts don't fire 3 times on that board, (and patrick had a T). and if u think about it ak doesnt make such a huge value bet unless if you're dwan. so i think from laaks line antonius put him on an inconsistent story i.e. air most of the time

also laak had been checking river alot in that session with hands like AA or AK. Its possible his range was super tight or just air, patrik guessed air and was right.

But I agree with wiseguy's comment... PA is the best in the game right now, probably even better than Ivey. The only hands in Laak's hand range were AK, KQ, KK, or QQ. No other hand would open from early position, and would also value bet that river. And honestly, Laak probably wouldn't have opened with KQ. Incredible call.

yeah, u r right. But once he bets the river the only hand he can have is KK. He might not bet that much on the turn if he had QQ (PA might have a flush draw w/ a King). Finally once he bets the river, he can only have KKs, he is not betting AK or AA (if he put patrik on a draw he wouldnt bet it on the riv). Patrik reduced his range to one hand (KK) and made the call, he wouldnt have bet that much on the riv if he had KK since Patrik didnt show any strength (what had could PA call with)

After PA checked the river, Laak would never had bet AQ,AK, AA for value that big i mean 80 k!! You would bet smaller bet for value and fold to reraise or take safe route and check behind.
So Laak is having here either a monster like set. Or complete air. PA made a desicion based on polarized ranges so it was air or monster. If he makes a correct call in these situation over 50% time it's+EV.
This is why he called. And maybe he had some kind of read too. Laak did bet quite quickly after all.
