i own a 325ti, great engine, great car! goes up to 240km/h :) 5-speed gearbox.

I got 325ti compact.. I must say that one time tried 6 cilinder engine you'll never downgrade back to 4 cilinder for your next car.

I have one in black, great car indeed. I bet is a must rare BMW of all 3 series at this date, and actually have a nice used value, more rare, more value, and this compact on E46 is one of them. My car is equal of the adv.

i got a compact 316ti with the sport packet...it was a very good car but it didn;t have tha acceleration i needed...i was very sorry to sell it...but in the place of it...i got an evo ix...

@mrjost55 It wasn't launched on the States because the previous E36 Compact didn't found much success and Americans don't buy so much hatchbacks like Europeans. But is was the smallest BMW of its time. The only baby BMW before series 1 replaced it, and it has the best handling of the entire E46 series.
