@00mrmonster These were Navy Corpsman... (the ones in Marine deserts are definitely Docs)... calling Medics/Docs POGs might pass... but I willing to bet a paycheck at least one of these "fucks" will go out to be the only "Doc" for a squad or even platoon of Marines.
@EntryStackEnthusiast I know what Corpsman are brother, I am FMF and Recon qualified.
These fat bodies seem like MLG or MED BN material which means they sit and watch videos all day in country (if they are stuffing their faces in the chow hall 3 times a day). I know this because I've been there! When I was with DIV we got training like this here and there, but I know plenty of line guys that got snubbed and told to stand by while these Fobbits get to enjoy training packages like this.
@00mrmonster I can't disagree with you there, especially with your background and experience. I'm just giving my respect to medical types like you, and putting it out there. Even if these guys don't deploy or home station, I think they're a lot closer to you when compared to the rest of the navy
i think vet girl 85 needs to work on her math... 15/10=150%... im an emergency medical responder (basic paramedic) and it makes me mad when people say it.
it's not army...look at the uniforms...USMC/USN uniforms..meaning it's Fleet Marine Force (FMF) Navy Corpsman learning this technique. It's not hard either!!
I can't beleive it he wipes his nose with his right hand at 3:30 then puts that tube into her insertion, it's a real good jogb that they gave her AB at the end. Dirty get.
She has anesthesia (5cc's ?lignocaine or similar). But I think this chick is nuts volunteering for an IO demonstration. Cellulitis, abscess formation, skin necrosis and osteomyelitis - just a few reasons that spring to mind and would keep my name of the volunteer list! Nice to hear that they give her a dose of AB's at the end just in case of infection!!?!
that lady is badass :0)

1. The first guy threw the IV tubing on the floor and then reconnected to the "patient".
2. The next guy touches his nose, then the IO. One word for ya guys: Asepsis. This was an exercise not in the middle of a firefight.
