  • CLAPS FROM MEE!

  • amen!

  • That's a shoutin' song right there! Especially when the sopranos went for that high note, then the tenors joined them, I about stood up in my dorm room!

  • honey''' dat was good

  • wow, can't say how weird it would have been to have this happen when I flew 14+ hours...very cool though. Props to these people for doing this. very nice.

  • beautiful....have all the rest, give me Jesus.......

  • Everyone believes in Jesus after they die~~"every knee will bow, every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord". But you have to do it this side of life to gain eternal life with God the Father, His Son Jesus and His Holy Spirit. May the Lord Jesus bless you with salvation unto eternal life.

  • This, GOD TV, is the way to get people singing in Jerusalem churches on your tours; it's called INCLUDING EVERYONE not only one person at the front, implying that the rest of the group has not faith. As none of your team took part, I will assume, then that you're not Christian. God gives some of us who haven't got the confidence to perform in front of 630 people on a tour, the awareness of His Presence in music, in this way, individually: THAT,DEARS,...IS HIS DECISION!

  • Beautiful! I would have loved to be among them helping to usher in the Holy Spirit!

  • I've watched it over and over again. It's unique to see this type thing happening on a plane and I'm amazes with the arrangement and voices. It's beautiful!

  • @cbrow0113 Yes it was! Such a blessing!

  • @cbrow0113 me too! The first time I found this I watched over 10 times!

  • @VTwin4Christ amen!

  • Wow!

  • amen Wonder why everyone is so afraid of Jesus, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm? I guess I would if I wasn't standing with him. All praise and honor and glory to my King who gave his life for us all. John 3:16

  • AMAZING!!!!!

  • 113 said Dis I Likes

  • Just lovely voices, raised in a wonderful arrangement. Does anyone know who the arranger is?

    PTL!

  • I love this song omg!!!!

  • "Do not be ashamed to live the Gospel"- Romans 1:16.

"The lukewarm shall be the first to be spewed."

  • That's my school!! So proud to be a part of Indiana Wesleyan University!

  • that gave me chills and brought me to tears.

  • i am just looking forword to that day when the whole heavens are singing what a sight

  • beautiful! Oh it gave me goosebumps listening to it on computer i can only imagine what it would have been like being right there. I think the flight attendant was wiping away tears.

  • Perfect!

  • wow that gave me chills and tears...amazing

    thank you for posting

    and thankyou for loving Jesus

  • To set the record straight, yes the flight was delayed while undergoing maintenance or a maintenance inspection, which is highly unusual when the plane is supposed to be taking off. Because of this delay, the flight attendants didn't know what to do so asked the students if they were all together. The attendants must've known they were part of a choir/chorale and asked them if they would sing for the other passengers.

  • They were hesitant, and told the flight attendant that asked them that they sang Christian music, to which the attendant replied that she didn't care. And the crying of the passengers shows the seed that was planted in each and every person, and the joy that the fellow believers felt hearing God's word being lifted up in song.

  • The whole point is they were asked to do it. It wasn't something they did on a whim. They even let the flight attendant know, because they were worried themselves about how others on the plane would feel about them singing a song of praise. After they did it, I'm sure they felt relief and joy.

  • People are just too sensitive and quick to be offended these days... they stand, beat their chest, and proclaim they are champions of people's RIGHTS and FREE SPEECH, but literally come unglued if the one/s expressing their rights and free speech are Christians! Personally, I would enjoy such free entertainment during a maintenence delay, regardless what the name of the song was! So lighten up and quit bellyaching like some pale, thin-skinned shut-in!

  • Praise God Sing to The Lord I Love it

  • you may have all the rest....give me Jesus......beautiful....

  • I see that there were several folks that didn't like what these young people did as well as many who did. When a person accepts Jesus as their Savior they then receive the Holy Spirit (John 7:37-39)

The Bible teaches that when the Spirit prompts believers to speak on behalf of Jesus,we should not be ashamed to do just that because there was a reason to do so. Maybe on this plane there was just 1 person ready to give their heart to Christ at that time and needed to hear this song.

  • This song is so moving, and so powerful! My chorus is performing this song next week, and it moves me to goosebumps every time.

  • Oh My Goodness! Im a christian my self but you guys are being ridiculous. This wasn't a flash mob evangelistic moment where they were singing cos they weren't afraid to show their faith! It's a famous choral piece. Can't you guys just enjoy the video and what they are doing instead of turning it into a sermon on how christians should be loud and outspoken about Jesus. It's not the right place to do so and it just results in yourselves getting abused.

  • Hell is simply anywhere outside of the “Pearly Gates,” where neither God nor His blessings (which include Life and Light and Love (even between friends)) are present. Where would you rather be? As for me . . . “Give me Jesus!”

(read these posts in reverse order, I guess!)

  • “There is NO OTHER name given . . by which men MUST be saved.” It is a gift given freely to all who desire it, but we must willingly “repent,” which literally means “to re-think!” Change your thoughts and attitudes concerning God and His Messiah (Christ). ASK Him, and He will change you, and cleanse you (wash your brain?); and finally bring you to the Pearly Gates, ready and able to enter. God doesn’t want ANYONE to go to Hell, but He gave you a free will to accept or reject Him and Paradise.

  • Jesus is not a “normal human!” Prophecies concerning him, written hundreds of years before He was born, should make that abundantly clear. Then, when He was born (in perfect humility) even the stars in the sky “danced” to announce THEIR Messiah. He lived a perfect life (for others), died a perfect death (for others), and rose from the grave to prove (to others) His divinity– and His perfection – and thus HIS power to give perfection to you and me.

  • Normal humans are imperfect; every one! That includes Mohammed and Buddha (and even Al!). And the problem is, that which is imperfect can never truly perfect anything. Imperfect data or methodologies will ALWAYS render imperfect results. You can never perfect yourself, even given a billion (re)incarnations (matter of fact, entropy WILL take you in the opposite direction!). So how can you ever become perfected? By being cleansed by that which is already perfect. That is the ONLY way.

  • That is why Heaven must be guarded, and imperfect beings MUST be denied entrance. It isn’t out of meanness on God’s part, it is out of a protective love. Those who are “knocking on the Pearly Gates” with muddy shoes (or hearts) must remain outside. It is the only perfect “firewall” in existence, offering perfect protection for those inside, and it must be protected, or it will be forever destroyed.

  • Why Jesus? Why NOT Mohammed or Buddha or Al Gore? True, the Bible says so, but it is really a matter of simple logic as well. You see, if Heaven (Utopia or Nirvana if you prefer), a PERFECT paradise exists, then there’s a problem with you going there. If you set one unperfected foot in Heaven, then no matter how slight your imperfections, you just ruined Heaven's perfection.

  • @ImperfectButSaved These nuts would be crying all over the place if a group was singing "give me muhammad" in their christian faces. This is an airplane and you have no way of escaping. They don't care about the rights of others or other faiths as long as they can shove their stupidity on other people. I'm sure more than one will be offended by my post, feeling "under attack". I like to laugh them off, but you can't do that in a closed airplane. This is horrifying.

  • @chriswonderboy Chris, you've summed up perfectly why God can't let everyone into Heaven, for the unrepentant heart - it would be torture. I pray you find Him, He IS real and He died for you. If you truly seek with all your heart you will find Truth.

    Give me Jesus!

  • @luridhue I already did for many years and this is where it got me, but thanks for the good thoughts. Just to clarify: if these we´re atheists singing to Richard Dawkins I´d be horrified too. If they we´re neutral I would not like it either. Too much noise for an airplane. If they did this in public on their own account I would not mind. I might even stop to listen. The fact that they did this on an airplane is what I don´t appreciate. I´m not antichristian, it´s the bible I don´t trust.

  • I don't give a damn that this was religiously themed, I just appreciate that the choir gave an impromptu performance. Pretty sweet.

  • Did they have permission? No sure, but I have not flown as much as you, maybe 40 times and there is often 'dead' time where there is just waiting. Looks like the flight attendant was for it too..don't think it is really a big deal respecftully saying...

  • I would have called - security - and had them all removed, as a saftey threat to the airplane

  • @MrCurvesLeft Would you call the police on Flash Mobs too for disturbing the peace?

  • @chadonthetube Well.. it is an airplane, it is not a public space - and yes - I am a flight attendant... If I was a passenger - I would have been Extremely Un-Comfortable, after this nonsense.

and can you imagine - if these people, had been muslim, and they began doing that?

  • @MrCurvesLeft - Minorities have ran their course long enough. It is not I the minority in United States, it is WE THE PEOPLE. There are exits located to the front and rear of the aircraft, and above the wings.

  • The HOLY SPIRIT was aboard that day!! :DDD

  • @Eye2EyeIIIV No. I am pretty sure that is called a chorus.

  • What is really disturbing... If you watch some youtube vids of Christians being arrested for preaching the Gospel in public. Some states allow people to be arrested for "OFFENDING" someone else! WOW! Freedom of speech is just about dead. Time to RISE UP folks and proclaim your love for CHRIST our Savior! Be bold and confident in his name for his blood covers your sins.

  • @VTwin4Christ Pray for Obama, Psalm 109:8

Psalm 109:8 "Let his days be few; and let another take his office."

  • @VTwin4Christ If I stop proclaiming the name of Jesus the rocks would cry out!

  • @VTwin4Christ it's all obama's fault

    Pray for Obama, Psalm 109:8

Psalm 109:8 "Let his days be few; and let another take his office."

  • @VTwin4Christ For the day I leave, the world rejoices and you will mourn and cry. But for the time i come back you will rejoice forever in My kingdom.

I dont remember the verse :D

  • Some of those who have posted here were actually on this flight, so - question:. I couldn't quite catch the closing second of this video - was that the stewardess anouncing "TIME TO GO?" Amazing. Simply amazing; and beautiful. "You can have all the rest - give me Jesus!"

  • THE BIBLE IS THE MARK OF THE BEAST> Pray that God shows you all the truth. King James was born 6, 1566, 6th out of the house of Stuart. He authorized 66 books of the graven image (bible) and gave it power to speak (the bible says). You can't buy the word of God. God sent the Holy ghost and there is power in the spirit

  • @MarkofBeastRevealed What is your standard of truth to reject the Truth, i.e. the Bible?

  • @chadonthetube The Holy ghost.

  • @MarkofBeastRevealed How do you know there is a Holy Ghost?

  • @chadonthetube Because the Holy ghost came over me and I start weeping and travailing and then God started leading me. I know what you think and how you thought I would answer but you are wrong and have never talked to a child of God before. We don't need books. How did John know about the Holy ghost? Did he read it in a book? What about Cornelius? an angel came to him. THE BIBLE IS THE MARK OF THE BEAST. That didn't come from the bible either. It was just written about in there

  • I would fly with this group anytime - but I'm afraid I would be unable to keep myself from joining them in song - and thus degrade the quality of their harmony!

  • Congrats to these people for proclaiming their love for Jesus Christ! :) Christians have sat silent long enough while the world has been sucked into a black hole of hate and evil. It's time to rise up and be proud of your love for Christ and the share it with confidence regardless of what others may thing or say. Remember scripture... You are for me or against me! And those who didn't stand for me among men, I will not stand for them before the Father. GREAT JOB!!!! :)

  • @VTwin4Christ lol Christians

  • @VTwin4Christ

    Amen to that!

  • @VTwin4Christ Are you forgetting that Christians were soldiers in the Crusades...where Arab women and children were slaughtered? Have you ever heard of the Dark Ages???? In fact Christians never sit silent, Evangelical groups are the most over represented group in congress and continue to soldier on against gay rights.

  • @Squirrelleaf - Nope... Not at all. But because Christians sat silent for so long is why society is so twisted that it is now. RISE UP! STAND STRONG! BE UNITED! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! All should hear the good news of salvation and know that no matter what their sin, they are a treasure to the Kingdom of Christ.

  • @VTwin4Christ You are right... lets have another crusade and show america the true meaning of christ.

  • @VTwin4Christ you don't have to have jesus to have hope and love. And if you don't beleive in god doesn't mean that you have been "sucked into a black hole full of hate and evil". Also christians hardly ever sit silent.

  • @JasmineBaby05 - Actually... Faith, hope and love were traits given by God. As well as breath, life and everything else. So technically... YES... One must believe in Jesus Christ in order to find it. As far as black holes... Jesus is the truth, the way, and the light. Anything void of light is darkness (aka black hole).

  • beautiful.....give me Jesus.....

  • I'm not religious whatsoever but this was beautiful. Much respect to this talented group, gave me goosebumps

  • beautiful...give me Jesus....

  • beautiful & quite gutsy!!

  • That's so awesome!!!!! and to everyone that's all upset, this choir is just singing a song. if you don't see the people on the plane complaining YOU SHOULDN'T BE!!!!!!!!!!!! Jeez, i've been in a choir and I know that these kids probably worked very hard and just love singing. They just want to sing. that is all. they should be allowed to sing w/o being crucified, so to speak.

  • Dang, these people are just singing a song. That's all. It's a pretty song and it affects emotions. But that's all it is. A dog food commercial can affect your emotions in the same way. A beautiful sunset or Rachmaninoff can affect your emotions like this. But some of you people are reading more into this performance than they really is. it's just a song.

  • What's so wrong about popping into song on a plane? It didn't hurt anyone. And before you going saying their forcing Christianity on people (which is just crazy) forget the words and just listen to that harmony and the talent in that group. It's awesome that it happens to be a great Christian song but even if it wasn't a Christian song their musicality is still amazing.

  • Torturing people in hell is not love.

  • @1TryThinking God will NOT torture people for eternity in hell, that is not biblical, it's a lie of Satan. Check out H E L L T R U T H . C O M

  • @luridhue Mat 24:51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. ~ Scripture is clear, that those who do not accept Jesus, Hell will be their portion. There are other scriptures to support this gospel of Jesus Christ. Another supporting word: Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

  • @JasonJC I didn't say the unsaved won't perish, they will because the penalty for sin is death - there's no way around that and THAT is why Jesus came to this earth and sacrificed Himself for us.. because He loves us so and doesn't wish that one would be lost. The unrepentant will pay for their sins and then they will cease to exist. No one is burning in hell currently and NO ONE will burn for eternity, not even Satan.

  • @luridhue Rev 14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented WITH FIRE AND BRIMSTONE in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

Rev 14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up FOR EVER AND EVER: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

  • Verybeautiful! Especially since they asked the people first and they said yes! There's power in the name of Jesus!

  • does not matter profrandall it was BEAUTIFUL,

  • What a beautiful people but what a beautiful Jesus in you all !! Glory to His name !

  • Why is that nearly every video that has to do with christianity has people in a heated debate over evolution -______-' beautiful video though! proud IWU student :D

  • Well, once again, it's been fun chatting with ya'll, but I have other things to do. Maybe I'll check back in another week or so.'Til then, God's blessings to all who will receive; and again I will agree with this amazing choir: "You can have all the rest - Give me Jesus!"

  • The cell phone sounded like it was going to shatter after recording frequencies it wasn't designed to handle.

  • Awwww…soooo beautiful…wish I were there ;'D

  • I "really" needed to see and hear this video. That was just too awesome for words.

  • @profvrandall if ur goin too rant on videos that you arent not even forced to watch, you should at least check your grammars. it'll give u a little more credability.

  • @chungchangching *credibility*

  • There is nothing but Love in my heart for this performance, performers, and the person that posted this! Beautiful! There truly is no greater thing to receive other than Jesus and His Name! I fully accept Him and pray that those that haven't, will do the same!

  • 聽不懂意思..但很好聽!!

  • Just beautiful...I wish that I could have been there.

  • It strikes me as odd that people who would be critical of what the choir was singing would take the time to listen to it. They say 'how dare they sing a religious song on a plane" yet they managed to find this video and watch/listen. If this plane were dropping from the sky instead of sitting on the runway, you might be singing "Give Me Jesus" too! Thank you IWU for this beautiful song!

  • @persevere67, I cry whenever I watch this. it just moves me because it's lovely. the stewardess and I are on the same team! LOL

  • Wow!!!! This is amazing!! I wish they would fly with me!! :)

  • YES YES YES give me JESUS!! Amen.

  • YES YES YES!!!

  • ...wonder how the atheists felt...

  • @blackdiamondskiier99 And your point is ?

  • @blackdiamondskiier99 They felt like it was going to be a good flight!

  • im not a christan and now i want jesus! beautiful

  • @badjer1785 I was an ordained minister when I realized that what I was missing it is what the choir sang: JESUS! And what a great day it was for me when I rejected my ordenation, I rejected my formation, I rejected my position and count all lost to gain JESUS, the only One that can change someone saving and giving an eternal life!

If I ever can serve you, please let me know. Since I don't know your gender, my name is Louie and my wife is Ana. Our e-mail is thenunesfamily@hotmail.com

  • @TheNunes I'm confused to what you rejected when you were an ordained minister and then gained Jesus?

  • @badjer1785 God bless, I pray for your conversion

  • @badjer1785 now THAT'S a POWERFUL COMMENT

  • @badjer1785 - Badger... The love of Jesus is free of charge! :) Go google the sinners prayer... Confess your sins outloud with your mouth and ask him into your heart. And it's like that cooking guy... "BAM!" - Then you got Jesus. :) Best thing that I ever found!!! Better than s*x, better than nights at the bar, better than all the money I made, better than any job title. It's good stuff! :)

  • @sboss That would make the world better. Good thing these people have a RELATIONSHIP and not a RELIGION. Same with true Christians. Jesus was actually the first rebel against organized religion. Look it up dawg!

  • lovely!!

  • Why do we have to make such a big deal out of everything? Can't people just say the young people did a good job with the song? Everything has to be a big political deal. People have a huge chip on their shoulder. They're just looking for something to be mad about; something to object to. Makes me sad.

  • so beautiful

  • Jesus loved it!

  • ProfVRandall must be well educated in social issues and science and probably math, but very ignorant about our country's Christian heritage. Our NATION was founded on Christian values not muslim values and not certainly not onthe "entertainment value of music. Most allmusic during that era had it's origin in the Christian church.

    dj 1234

  • honey, that was awesome :)

  • Great job! I have been singing this song all morning!

  • that is beautiful, notice the stewardess is crying?

  • Watching this clip brought tears to my eyes! I loved it. I miss singing in the coral at home.

  • Jesus Christ has given us all an amazing. Those that believe in him with not die, but have eternal life. Anyone offended by the truth will one day beg for his forgiveness but he will say" Depart from me for I never knew you".

  • WOW!!! I got goose bumps from this they killed it!!!

  • Jgear. Were you on the plane? How do you know what they did with the none choral members? It seems to me you are asserting facts that you have no basis for.

  • @ProfVRandall I go to IWU and personally know a few members in that choral. Just enjoy it for what it is...or not. But at least you have some background information now!

  • Is it me or the the choir are singing give me cheeseus?

  • Lol @ 1:49 the girl in the baseball cap's reaction...Aaaaw the flight attendant got all teared up....

  • you can have all the rest, give me Jesus......Beautiful.....

  • To be honest...if your religious or not they sounded beautiful. If you were touched by the music then great, and if you werent that is ok too. If you werent touched by any of it that is ok. This conversation shouldnt have gone in this direction...just a choir singing a song that happened to be about Jesus. It seems like we are looking for trouble and debates instead of seeing the beauty in what was done on this plane...point blank period.

  • This was anointed without a doubt! You can FEEL the atmosphere of peace. This Chorale group was led by the Lord to welcome the Angels presence on that flight & cause the demons to flee, disarming any assignment satan may have had to cause any harm or anything overlooked in the maintainance check. Many left that plane reminded of the power of worshipping the Lord to bring peace & may have even decided on seeking Jesus/rededicating their lives. Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty....

  • Can you imagine the backlash -- if they sung "Give me Allah" . Would the fact they were a secular choir change the nature of the song being sung. If you are okay with it great. I am just saying that most people were okay with it because it fit their religious belief not because it was a beautiful "choral standard repertoire secular piece".

  • @ProfVRandall The attendants on the plane specifically asked the choir to sing a piece, and the choir members then asked the other passengers on the plane for permission before singing. Your "literally trapped" remark does not apply to this scenario.

  • @jgrear Really?! Do you think there was 100% agreement? Do you think there was no one who didn't wanted? Did they do a hand vote? Was it by majority rule? So what happened with the ones who didn't want to hear it. Are do you think that didn't exist? 100% agreement? That would have been a first?

  • @ProfVRandall Yup! Considering 90 of the members on the plane were part of the choral, they were easily able to individually talk with the passengers to get permission first. But I'm sure you'll still find some way to be offended by that. This type of hypersensitivity towards religious expression in our country is pretty sad, Christian or not.

  • It is a religious debate -- because imagine what would have happened if a Muslim, Hindu or African Traditionalist tried to engage the plane in a celebration of there belief. Not speak of Atheist and agnostic. As beautiful as the song might be it is still inappropriate.

  • @ProfVRandall Do you even have an understanding of the history and heritage of choral music?

  • @sgjake21 Your question is irrelevant. My understanding of choral music has nothing to do with the issue I raise. Do you think that Christians would be so understanding of "beautiful" non-christian music being sung on a commercial airline -- literally trapped?

  • @ProfVRandall It is relevant. They are singing a standard repertoire piece. And I don't think you know what that means. And, no, I wouldn't be offended of a choral standard repertoire secular piece being sung at all. Not one bit.

  • @sgjake21 Good for you. But it is interesting how you recharaterized the song to be a "a choral standard repertorie secular piece". But again, I ask the same question, without qualification, would you accept a Muslim group singing a standard Muslim song. The fact that secular groups perform doesn't make it a secular song. Would you accept a university choral group standing up in an airline singing a clearly muslim worship song.

  • @ProfVRandall Christian themes in music are part of the culture in this country. If you want to live here you might have to tolerate some of that. Believe it or not, many people actually are capable of tolerance.

  • @ProfVRandall I didn't recharacterize the song. I was saying that I wouldn't be offended of a secular piece being performed. And no, I would not be offended by a Muslim piece being performed either if it was simply for the enjoyment of the passengers- as is the case in this video. This frantic "passangers trapped" scenario that you are painting is really ridiculous.

  • Beautiful!

  • Wonderful video moved me to tears...give me Jesus!!

  • This is a beautiful song and reminds me of my college gospel choir days. We would break into song anywhere we were--in the dorm, on the train, in restaurants, in hotels--it didn't matter. Anywhere is a great place to praise the name of Jesus!

  • Praise the Lord for this!

  • I cried when I heard it!

  • Loved It! Every Moment In Life Serves A Purpose!

  • its very refreshing to see this in times like these

  • @tommyready I'm not. Sometimes, someone giving testimony like that can convert them to the faith

  • @mmartin088 Smoking turns your lungs black, singing to God and encouraging others to do so turns your soul almost pure

  • @Amtrak504 I think you mis interpreted my comment. I love this song. And they did sing it well. I'm just saying that I would have found it annoying on an airplane. I go to a concert to hear music. Or play it on my iPod or in the car. When I am on a plane I don't want to hear a choir just like I don't want to hear that guys conversation 6 rows behind me but this guy can't realize that he's in a confined space with nowhere for anyone to go. That is all. Have a blessed day.

  • @ScienceSplat It's never too late to reconcile with God

  • @Amtrak504 Sadly after death you cannot be reconciled...its too late: heb 9:27. False religions want you to think you can after death: Hinduism, Mormonism, Roman Catholicism...don't wait - for he who waits until 11pm dies at 10:30...

  • @ScienceSplat the Scripture you are quoting (and taking ENTIRELY out of context) doesn't even prove your point. Hebrews 9 is all about Christ's blood being the atoning sacrifice for everyone, ONCE and for ALL. Praise be to you Lord Jesus Christ! And that's not even looking at the greater context of the whole book.
