I went to tom wood subaru and got a test drive...I said "I could do low 30's"...they said they couldnt. I waited 2 years and ended up at andy mohr nissan. They gave me a test drive and said "I can do low 30's"...they said "We can do that" I now own a 2010 MB 6M 370Z.....and I have no regrets...

The 370z base price is like 29k. I bought a base model because I didn't see the need for any of the extra crap they put on the car. In my opinion it was just going to rob the car of performance by making it even heavier.

For the price comparison and bang for your buck I would definitely go with the 370z. Plus the styling is gorgeous and the car drives like a dream.

Don't get me wrong the C6 is fast and they're nice. But they just don't fit me.

STI 1/4: 13.9 seconds - CarAndDriver.

Nismo 370z 1/4: 13.7 - CarAndDriver.

The Nismo 370z has more power, and its faster than the regular 370z, which the STI faster than the regular 370z for about the same price with more practically.

Now I don't know about you guys, but 40K for a 2 seated car, no space, no trunk, and just Nissan brand. Its not worth it to me. For 40K I can get a way better deal. I am truly a JDM fan, and Z fan. The Z series is the only car I like from Nissan, and the R34. That's it. Even though that is true I have some not so great opinions of the new Z. I test drove one, and I seen a lot of up in person. The looks, what ever anyone decides its bias, but I think the looks of the front is ugly. The hood humps up, and it looks too round. That's what I hate.

To Nissan: The triangles out of the headlights and tail lights are weird. Give the base model some type of grille. Offer a version with your new 4.5 L or a forced induction version of the VQ. Use the G-Nose somewhere. Consider an electronically controlled suspension option to be on par with Cayman. I love the Synchro-Rev and how it can be turned off. Offer a guide to remove the heavier crash stuff and offer the original components. I'd trust my life to them. Keep up the good work!

i think nissan ruined the simple, clean, not trying hard style the 350 had. the 370 looks like its trying so hard with all sorts of sharp angles, two thumbs down on the styling. now for the synchro rev matching. its a gimmick, and a cheap trick to gain attention for sales. i think they where shooting for a dual clutch trans, and failed.

in short. 370z = a step backwards in styling with and a transmission with a useless gimmick

I own a 240z and i've gotta say, the 370z is pretty nice. stop hating on the car. It's not an exotic you cant expect it to be the best sports car on the market. The Z has always had a rep for being affordable and very good for the price which the 370 is. besides it beats the shit out of big, heavy, and over styled American cars.
