18 years old to do a Form 1. Price can vary, but for me it was $230 total + whatever the passport photos at Wolf Camera cost [I forget]. $200 NFA Tax + $10 each for FBI Fingerprint cards [the sheriff charged me to be fingerprinted + $10 for the background check before the sheriff would sign off on my paperwork.
The $200 tax is per suppressor or other NFA item and done on a Form 1 it only allows you to create one suppressor which as I understand it cannot be rebuilt if it is destroyed.
Oh, one more thing... my father is totally against me getting a form 1 because he thinks I will be targeted and labeled as a threat to the government. Now, I have no intention of using it anyway else than dear hunting and plinking, so do you think its still ok to get one? Do you think I will suffer for it in the future?
If I hadn't told anyone I was making it the only people that would know I had it would be the Sheriff and the NFA branch of the ATF generally speaking. You don't waive your rights to unreasonable search or seizure. I have never been asked by law enforcement or anyone else to show my paperwork, but I do carry copies of it with the can at all times.
You can definitely tell the difference between the stingers and sub rounds. Nice job.

thank you! Im just scared I will forever lose my privacy in this country and i will be monitered.
But then too, they are more worried about getting their money then you being a threat to society... would you agree?

Nice comparison. I was searching for a comparison between sub and super on the same can. Are you using K baffles?
