  • Nice bike, I have a 2005 just like this. Just put the Vance and Hines Longshots on it. Big difference, you will love the new sound.

  • Nice bike ...youll enjoy it when you put pipes on it its not gonna sound like you want never gonna sound like a h.d. but it aint supposed to v&h long shots stage 1 jet kit k&h air filter You wont hear that annoying alternator noise anymore....my friends call me the Butcher cause I kill Hogs...and you will very fast have fun

  • Nice bike, my father has the identical bike, just with a bunch of custom stuff on it like windscreen, saddlebags, mustang seat etc. I spent a bit of time riding it last summer, Very solid bike. Handled very well for its size, I was able to weave it through the tria corse painted at the college for dirtbikes in the training course. One thing I dislike about this bike: The stock pipes make it sound worse than a 750 shadow

  • Yeah, I hear that about the pipes. It is really pleasant to ride. I WILL get some pipes for it one of these days.

  • 2 things. Love the Sabre. Probably my next bike. And nice neighborhood. Reminds me of where I grew up - Savannah, GA.

  • Thanks. This is the neighborhood where I grew up and where my parents live. It's funny because they really loved Savannah when they visited there. It sure looked nice in FORREST GUMP.

  • I have the EXACT same bike. Same color same year everything. It's by far the best bike I've ever owned. I can't stop riding it. I've put over 20,000 miles on it in a year. Do you have a camera mount? I've tried doing some ride along videos but they haven't come out this nice.

  • I made a camera mount using a metal bracket that I bent with a hammer, then put a screw on it for the camera, attaching to the helmet with a lot of rubber bands. I haven't used it in a while, since one of my youtube friends pointed out to me the hazards of having a piece of metal in your helmet.

  • I have the exact same bike, it's been in the shop for two months now! I crashed it and I live in Iceland, parts coming from Japan by ship. I'm going crazy just waiting! There's a chance I'll get it tomorrow or day after that.

    Excellent vid and beautiful bike . . . .

    I'll be posting more vids of my bike soon . . . . .

  • man I would hate to kive in Iceland in the winter. I'm sure you have some beautiful riding in the summer though. I like the color of your bike.

  • Thank You for this ride along video! I've watched it several times. Nice bike! I've been dreaming of one since I was 12 years old. I'm going to buy a Shadow Aero 750 in the fall! Thanks again!

  • No. The sabre is good because it has a low center of gravity and it really is easy to sweep around curves on. The problem with it is that it is a little tricky at the most critical point for a beginner, that is, when you are starting off from a standstill. At that point, the clutch feels a little stiff and you have to give it a lot of gas compared to other bikes or it will stall. The size of the bike would be good for someone your size, but I say just buy a smaller, USED bike to relearn on.

  • Very nice video!

  • thank you.

  • In your opinion, is the shadow sabre an OK bike to start riding on? I have not ridden a bike for several years, my last being a 400cc. I am about 6' tall and 230 lbs. I am very much wanting to get back into the bike scene...but I am worried if a 1100 would be too much to "re learn on".

  • Another bute!! vid roadrash your helmet cam works a treat great view :-)
