Nora will always be my favorite hardcore band. such a unique style, straight up aggressive good ol' rock n roll. they were always so amazing live too. karl was a nut onstage beating the mic off his chest and forehead
I remember them playing with FATA and A7X like once a month for a solid year at Krome in NJ. anyone remember that place? fridays was hardcore and saturdays was the club...that's when that kid got shot...oh the good old days of hXc and NJ
if anything ETID sounds like Nora. BMTH has no right to be in any sentence/article/paragraph along with the two aforementioned bands. except right now.
Same here man. I'm so glad I was a part of the scene when I was, seeing as it has since gone to shit. I keep a nice rotation of music from the late 90's/early 00's that I will never stop listening to.
i agree it is unconventional hardcore if your comparing it to Terror or Walls of Jericho, but the message and delivery are straight up "hardcore" in nature. Granted i am no authority in hardcore or punk, but to say its sensless shows a lack of appreciation for the art of it in general. I hate the beatles and Led Zepplin but am not going to say they are talentless hacks.
Obviously, NORA always had something beyond music, and that is unsensible for some people like CrazySS. But we, the others love NORA exactly for that kinda plus.
Some people listen to radio jingles for their music fix, doesnt mean you have to. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, same with music. If you dont like it take your fucking mouse and click on something else.
you had to throw in the sorry arse genre labeling. music is one thing - emotion, what you pick up, get out and what people give into it, the rest is just bullshit for arseholes to argue about. remember one thing; there are no bloody rules.
This is emotion? It sounds like someone screaming off-beat to poorly-recorded drums and awful, awful guitar chords. I think the song is TERRIBLE. That's just my opinion.
Lack of ability for what? The song is ass. It takes no "ability" to understand that. I've heard other Nora songs and they're actually a good band, but this song is terrible - and mindless.
when you have a cult following of fans of your own that all give a shit about your 'terrible' song then come back and see if anyone cares what you have to say.
your an insult to all music...there are no rules about music, and if you played guitar you would know what they are playing and understand that they are playing proper guitar and chords, just not like all these other bands....wake up

Why does everybody love this? Horribly dissonant chords with offbeat screamo vocals?
Rule Number 1 of Music: There has to be a melody.
Rule Number 2: Never do screamo over something that already doesn't sound like music, because it makes it sound MORE LIKE ASS.
This song is seriously horrible. It sounds like someone strumming randomly held chords on the guitar. It's an insult to hardcore music.
