@Manumillier Agreed. Can't believe so many like this so much. This actually has more hits then Ray LaMontagne (live acoustic), which is totally amazing!
respect dude,,im no singer but i nailed eric claptons tears in heaven,,,checkowt thestevied2010,,,sorry about the singin,,,ur the man the song sounds ace
re-record and check on left side of panel that "follow tempo and pitch" is deselected. same with "enhance tuning" because 1) you dont need it and 2) it ruins it.
otherwise interesting cover. dont you wish you had a bass for the walk-down!?
Great cover. I thought it was lip synced at first. I believe the strum pattern on this is 1 2&3&4& or D_DUDUDU btw since I am working on this one as well for the person who asked on the comments.
What is the strumming pattern for this? I watched a tutorial video for this, but the strumming pattern sounded a little different. The one I know is DUDU. Is that the same one you use?

just came across this by complete accident, one of my favourite songs ever and just want to say you have an absolutely stunning voice, and hope i can buy your album one day. xx
Agreed man... there is no need for autotune... my guess is you just got it (along with some UBER recording gear) and your trying it out... if you do use it, just not so heavy next time... you are the man dude keep it up!
I don't know why "Autotune" was even on?? I upload my videos into Garageband and have never used this feature before...oh well, live and learn ;-) Thanks for all your comments everyone! Bradly
And do yourself a favor and if you haven't already, check out his acre of land album. theres a guy named monkeychuff that uploaded all the songs to youtube. Ray buried the albums so they aren't for sale, so don't you don't even have to feel bad about downloading them :) Start with Wish I could change your mind or Roadhouse Girl and go from there. Cheers! J
Ray Lamontagne....may be the best songwriter of my time. This guy is incredible and you do an exceptional job with it. I like your take on it. Need more from ya Brad! Keep em coming please!
This is a guy with some real talent, not just a schmuck like me who messes around and can't sing for shit. This is top notch (as is the rest of your stuff Brad.) Can't understand for a minute why this does't have a straight five star rating. Some people must have the ears messed up.
Not sure what I did once I uploaded this song into Garageband, but whatever I did it screwed with the audio pitch of my vocals....sorry for that. I need someone who knows how to set-up audio please!! ;-) Bradly
@bradintampa Sounds like you might have enhanced the pitch? The pitch didn't change but it is making you kind of sound robotic since it is attempting to fix off-notes. You don't need that for your voice since it hits the notes pretty flawlessly anyway.
@bradintampa Yo, good job! yet again, im a fan/subscriber, i study audio engineering I think you might benefit from having the Cardioid Mic closer to the 12th fret to get more of the higher tones and less of the pick (but still some bottom end). Im always told to have the pop shield 6 inches from the mic and sing 12 inches from that, usually works well. As for garageband I have no idea, I use Logic Pro 8 which is awesome! Your sound would be a dream to record professionally.
Amazing!!! Yes, the vocals are really low, but it seems you did a great job with the guitar and the voice. I could not image you singing this song. You get better everyday!
Awesome man, also love you guitar! Do you record audio and video at the same time by the way? And could you tell me which program you use for recording video? Thanks a lot!
great job-thanks
