You made me miss kotatsu! Kotatsu is convenient place when boys and girls get together. You can hold hands or do something more with a next girl/boy without being known by the others. Japanese prefer SDA over PDA, you know?
I have sat at an authentic kotatsu with coals underneath. A friend's traditional farmhouse in Kyushu had a dirt floor kitchen where she had to build a fire to cook a meal. They also had an authentic ofuro where you had to build a fire under it and then balance on a wooden platform inside the water and not touch the side of the hot metal cauldron while you soaked in it. They were back to the land people. Hard life.
@Limastudent wow what a great experience!! but yeah, I would enjoy experiencing it only like...once. Sounds very troublesome to have to prepare all that everyday!
@saralhrules hmmmm it depends on what I:m wearing i guess LOL. but really, In Tokyo....there are SOOOO MANY FOREIGNERS>>>>they:re EVERYWHERE!!! so no, not really! sometimes i do in certain stores where foreigners usually dont go. Also I've learned to not go dressed like a tom-boy coz that DOES get me lots of weird looks... thanks for visiting my channel!
@ProjectVanBand really theres alot of foreigners because i was thinking of moving in japan with a friend of mine but we were worried of the dirty looks and gossips
@saralhrules i couldnt find the rest of the comment, but yeah, at least in Tokyo, there are a lot of foreigners. I also get treated well in Tokyo. They are quite used to foreigners. Yokohama is also like that.
I ordered a kotatsu from Japan last winter... Since I live in Canada, it's really usefull... I am just like you, as soon as I get under it, I never want to get out! And it's great to save money on electricity bills, too! Enjoy your kotatsu in the cold season!
@Silkeauverthe wow i didnt know you could order a kotatsu all the way from Canada! They are definitely worth the shipping costs.....i cant imagine living without one now....
@ProjectVanBand I found a website that sells kotatsu tables with heaters attached to them.. And theres alot of futon and mat sets on ebay.. Althought the shipping is very expenssive, ouch X3
@Silkeauverthe i think i would prefer to have a mattress rather than a futon. softer! plus i get tired of picking that thing up every single day LOL then having to hang it outside!!! my arms have built up just from toting those futons around!! they:re heavy! hahaha oh well. there are some advantages of futons too though. like you can sleep in any place you want and easier to dust them out. they have so much dust!
I like this music a lot. I would like to listen to it a lot while I work :O ( Hey, programmers are listening to music too, they are living creatures! :c )
@Kroliczek666 really? thanks!!! actually this is one of those *unfinished* works hahaha. maybe i should make a page somewhere to upload the *pieces* hahaha
so you are a programmer? wow awesome!! i went one semester for programming till i ran off to japan hahaha
i really want a kotatsu, but i live in germany and i cant buy it. I looked but there is no shop where sold it. :( I´m really sad about this!!!
