ok the way that teleportation jutsu of minato works is by using his kunai with the seal on it. well it's more of just the seal. he cant teleport without it wtf..-_- though itd be badass if he just teleports without that.

Both Raikage and Minato are very fast. Raikage Also has deadly taijutsu i.e. Lariat and immense strength. Minato lacks taijutsu but can teleport and use rasengan. In summary both are very powerful even for kage

Every one of the comments talking about his Signature Jutsu, is incorrect.

Minato tags his special Kunai, and throws it towards his opponent. When it is tagged, he can Shunshin towards that Chakra Tag, because it has his chakra on it.

Another one is, that he can mark you with just a touch, and then he can Shunshin to you, because you have his touch on you, which is also a tag.

@dragonraizen Well they both use "tricks"/ Techniques/ Jutsu's to amplify their speed, Minato uses his kunai and Raikage uses his lightening. Either way Minato was ultimately faster if you don't agree that's fine but just so you know even the Raikage states Minato was faster in the manga, how they obtained the speed is irrelevant speed is speed. (Chapter 541 in case your curious)

Yeah,I was refering to that. What I mean is, Raikage really MOVES fast, due to his lighting. Minato isn't really moving at those speeds, he is warping to the destination. If they were to race, Minato would only be as fast as the Kunai he has to throw first.

Actually, I don't want to spoil the whole thing, but if you read the manga, the most recent chapter "Two Suns", the Raikage A makes a reference saying how him and Minato are on par. They are nearly the same, and the Raikage quotes that him and Minato challenge eachother for the title of the fastest ninja.
