I dont mean this in a bad way, but have you ever tried dual booting Mac OS X and Windows XP, with OS X x86? I have been trying to do that, forever, because I love OS X for some reasons (I want XP still for gaming). But thanks to my broken DVD burner, I can't coninue the process. If you have ever heard of that, you might want to try it out, it works pretty well, ive heard. If you are interested, I will notify you when I make my how to video. You don't NEED to use Windows XP for gaming ya' know. You can play DirectX 9.0 games NATIVELY in Mac OS X via VMware Fusion. A great Virtual Machine App for the Mac.

ubuntu fresh install = 29 sec,
after using it for 6 months i get around 35-38 sec
vista takes over 4 min on the same comp lol

Eh, dude, trust me; VMware Fusion works really crappy for gaming. I've tried. The technology is there but it's just not worked out yet.
