  • Monty Python as a whole are hiliarious. I love 'em

  • Almost one million postings at google.com say "Benny Hill considered funnier than Monty Python"!

  • I vote this becomes Englands national anthem. I know it's an american song (SO FUCKIN CALM DOWN BEFORE YOU START HAVING A GO!), but it'd be so much better than God Save the Bleedin Queen.

  • @TheRandyChimp You're right it is better than God Save the Queen. Please, you can keep this one.

  • @TheRandyChimp But with all the good music England has had, you want this? Why not, I don't know, Tumbling Dice? STONES?

  • @TheRandyChimp And if it can't be, it should be the Internet's national anthem

  • The Photo at 0:12 makes me realize just how rare it is, that six persons form a group that wouldn't be complete without a single one of them. I could name NO Python whos missing would be tolerable.

  • ...And NOW for something Completely Different.

  • I've spent all my life trying to find this version of the song! Did you actually get this from a real gramophone record? Brilliant song :)

  • It's......

  • @Kenny7288 monty python's flying circus

  • @NickInfante92 That took a while.

  • The original is also available on Amazon, along with a remastered version.

Liberty Bell (Remastered) by The Band Of The Grenadier Guards from the album John Philip Sousa: Stars & Stripes Forever - The Best Of (Track 19)

    and

Liberty Bell by The Band Of The Grenadier Guards from the album The World Of Sousa Marches (Track 10)

  • Not sure about that second one. Here's the unremastered versionconducted by Bashford on Amazon:

The Liberty Bell by The Band Of The Grenadier Guards from the album Sousa: Marches (Track 9)

  • Thumbs up if you almost expected the raspberry blowing foot at 0:53

  • Samples from this were used in the "your name please" part of earthbound :D

  • Yay! Finally found it! :-D

  • 0:45 to 0:53 best part of the song.

  • anychance of it without the removal of the pops and clicks? no offence but this sound like its been dumped underwater, ask any professional. thanks anyway though

  • I didn't remove the pops and clicks, this is what it sounds like, it's in very good condition.

  • it must be the video then

  • I think it's probably my laptop.

  • whate kind if laptop

  • It's an eMachines laptop, the recording quality isn't the best, the record is much better in person.

  • what are you using to record? (software wise)

  • Windows Movie Maker.

  • ah, may i suggest audacity its a free audio editing software and is easy to use. it records really high quality not matter what computer google it it should be the top result and the logo is a blue headfone with firerry things in the middle, i reccommend the 1.3.9 beta version

  • WHERE is the recording from? I would like to download it to my iTunes collection (its a "pure" recording, and I did not hear any pops or clicks!).

  • I got it from a record, I hooked my record player to the audio input of my computer.

  • I meant-what version of the "Liberty Bell March" is it? What band was playing this particular version of this tune?

  • The Band of the Coldstream Guards.

  • @istj04 I have this exact same version on a cd that says it's performed by the Band of the Grenadier Guards (as opposed to the Coldstream Guards). It's in stereo there too. CD is called Sousa Marches by the Band of the Grenadier Guards. Track 9, available on iTunes.

  • @TPIMaster Yes, the Grenadier Guards recording - conducted by Maj. Rodney Bashford and first released on LP in 1968 - is the one used on the show.

  • @TPIMaster thanks for the tip! Got it at last!
