  • Thank you and you are right I have gone back and sleeved the wires and started running BX on all jobs

  • Nice install, only critique I would give is that it is against Electrical code to use Loomex (Residential wire) to wire pumps and controls. Don’t see connectors either. Wiring must have mechanical protection use AC-90 commonly called BX. I am a 28 year Master Electrician and J-man Plumber. Nice job on the layout.

  • Красиво сделано

  • The best is a Plumber that understand electrical. Because they know how the system is suppose to work

  • usually...does it take an electrician or a plumber when you have troubles with controllers and electrical heating systems ?? thank you!

  • man that looks nice....very professional looking.

  • Time to go back to school. If you paid attention to the boiler I have 3 (ups 26) pumps and 1 of them runs at all times so the heat exchanger always has lots of flow provided by one of thous pumps. Also I recently went back to service the heat exchanger and the system has been running great for 4 years and there biggest natural gas bill was $50 a month. This is because the boiler condenses as much as possible by running on low temps.

  • I agree with "ahutf" the primary ups 26 is at ALL times supposed to run with ever the boiler is running period. I understand you don't want to heat up the floor while heating your water, but the ups 26 is for the protection of the heat exchanger. I wouldn't be surprised if you run into problems with this system. If a trinity rep was to come out and see this system he wouldn't honor the warranty.

17 year Journeyman plumber at your service. :)

  • @geek31 Watch the video the boiler always has a (UPS 26) running through a 1" line so the heat exchanger always has lots of flow. And if you read the manual the main pump is not suppose to run ALL the time, It turns off when the Domestic hot water calls for heat and the pump for the indirect tank turns on. Thats why the boiler has 2 pump controls built right into it the blue wire for primary pump and the purple wire for the indirect hot water pump. That how you get domestic hot water priority.

  • No I don't want the main pump to run when the domestic hot water or fan coil call for heat. if it did and the infloor called for heat it would get 160 degree water and you only want 120 at the highest. I you watch the video you will see that I have 3 primary loops and only one of the big pumps (ups 26) will run at a time, and it pumps water through the boiler.

  • That one pump you showed there that you said that pump does not run should run. The primary pump runs to circulate water through boiler, then if it is a zone like the blower coil etc, then that pump kicks in. It's right to have the Domestic Hot water tank as priority. Thats The only thing I can point out as a PHVAC Guy.
