This amp, just the amp, is four thousand mother fucking dollars. The only reason to spend that much on 1 amp is just to say you have a $4000 amp. It sounds great and is incredibly versatile, but for that much money? No.

I have one :D but I also have a mesa mark 4 (which I will trade for a koch powertone :P ) and I will get a mesa roadking AND mk5. the engl though, is the benchmark for my toe, though.

I got a used Blackmore model because it has a great clean and amazing distortion sound and on top of that, it doesn't have a ridiculous price tag. I played it against an SLO which was better but way overpriced. The Blackmore, Screamer and Fireball is all that anyone needs. The more expensive ENGL's are for bragging right's.

not a very clean sounding amp at all.... thats why i prefer marshall... marshall is the best versetile amp for everything!!!! and the crunch isnt right on this amp... MARSHALL invented crunch...

i completely agree with you... this amp is not as its hype its very noisy and just doesn't have a great tone... Marshall is a much more versatile amplifier... and the crunch channel on this amp just sucks.... you can also get a much better high gain sound with a marshall by running an od pedal in front of thier lead channels.

Depends on what Marshall you use. I've used a few that were higher priced amps, and was super disappointed.
