I've been thinking of getting a 36v lifepo4 pack to run on my izip, i agree about the 24v sla, doesnt have too much range and if you run the batts flat, you ruin them in one day, that happened to me, returned home, pluggin the charger and a few hours later the charger was still flashing and the batts were red hot, ruined! and the charger is fine cause i've had no probs with the new pack, just dont let it get down too flat
Build one from a crystalyte kit, you'll be much happier with the performance.
My Izip has given me a lot of problems as of late, just the other day the rear derailer blew into a bunch of pieces when shifting. And it has just over 500 km's on it.
Coupled with the cheap build quality, and crappy loose front suspension,it may see the dumpster out back soon..
Nice, are yo still running that bike and what are your experience? Thanks for sharing ;-)
