  • Nice, are yo still running that bike and what are your experience? Thanks for sharing ;-)

  • I've been thinking of getting a 36v lifepo4 pack to run on my izip, i agree about the 24v sla, doesnt have too much range and if you run the batts flat, you ruin them in one day, that happened to me, returned home, pluggin the charger and a few hours later the charger was still flashing and the batts were red hot, ruined! and the charger is fine cause i've had no probs with the new pack, just dont let it get down too flat

  • I want to get one, it on sale at CanadianTire for $349.99.

  • hey iam going to get he Schwinn I-Zip Electric Bike ho ae the bikes

  • i think i am gonna get one of these bikes

  • Build one from a crystalyte kit, you'll be much happier with the performance.

My Izip has given me a lot of problems as of late, just the other day the rear derailer blew into a bunch of pieces when shifting. And it has just over 500 km's on it.

Coupled with the cheap build quality, and crappy loose front suspension,it may see the dumpster out back soon..

  • how fast? Did u hook up a nother battery in seires or just a new battery? cool though.

  • A separate battery i had left over from last year

  • im going to pick up another izip to mod, this time ill post all the info. you can get allot

more speed out of them safely :)

  • also there are blade fuses in the izip battery pack that fale with 36v and 48v well

thay melt first than fale :)

  • heh one thing i did was add a nipple on the gearbox to add Bearing Grease runs faster and cooler
