Economic Imperialism is only possible if done by Capitalist states..for instance: US and Cuba (American corporations working in the pre-Castro dictatorship and then forcing an embargo) .. since in socialism, there are no owners by the workers, nobody can control a corporation overseas and does whatever he wants with the country

@orgthingy "economic imperialism" is not an outgrowth of a free market, it's an outgrowth of a corporatist/fascist system, which is what the united states is today. Maybe you should spend some time listening to these guys at the Mises Institute.

Under an international free market free trade system there is complete competition throughout the world, and although one country's companies may have better access to capitol there is no way of preventing competition.
