  • We trusted you Ron! -He is gone over to the dark side... :(

  • Me: Do you want to read it?!

    Ron: No.

Me: Then just shut up and listen!

  • I don't think the tale is meant to compare the brothers to certain characters. I think it's just a way to pull the Invisibility cloak, sorcerers stone and elder wand together. Saying there isa parallel of the three brothers to Voldemort, Harry, and Snape can't be supported. Voldemort and Harry have a "connection" but how would Snape fit into that? I just think it's over analyzed.justathought.

  • If Edward and Bella would have a son, they must name it RONALD BILIUS.

  • 3 dislikes.... Brother 1... Brother 2 and Death

  • When i watched this in the movies I noticed the elder wand looks like Dumbledore's wand, and the rings stone looks like the resurection stone

  • @xXxwitchXgirlxXx the elder wand IS dumbledore's wand, the stone IS the ressurection stone. read the books.

  • @sds123kzproductions Incorrect. The Resurrection stone was in the snitch that Harry got from Dumbledore. If you remember, the ring was a holkrux and was from Voldemort's mother or something like that. Dumbledore destroys this holkrux, which left his hand scarred. The stone is not on the ring for if it was, it would have been destroyed.

  • @Pirateguyvtcta The resurrection stone=sorcerers stone.

  • @socachik16 Read the books. The sorcerers stone was destroyed in Harry's First year. The resurrection stone was imbedded into Gaunts ring.

  • @sds123kzproductions i was saying that if dat if u look at it closely and u haventt read the books(which i have thank you very much) u can tell that the wand was dumbledore's and the ring was the stone

  • midnight ,mum always said midnight ahhh got to love ron

  • i didn't know death had a youtube channel just for disliking!!

  • This is one of my favorite scenes in the movie. Love Emma's voice its so soothing. Good Job Emma! I know she said it was hard to get her voice to go with the animation but the end result for the movie is Awesome.

  • When i have a kid i am going to read this to them untill they are 11 and then on their 11th birthday i will give them the 1st book and when theyre 12 ill give them the second book and so on so they can grow up with harry, ron and hermione. :)

  • Even though the last brother isn't dumbledore shouldn't it be? 'cause he planned on dying and he passed the cloak to Harry didn't he? Or was that sirius I'm not up and up on the info but still. Harry did also let himself die but he also came back am I right?

  • @AssassinsCreedVids41 The cloak was Harry's fathers.

  • @AssassinsCreedVids41 yup, harry did that.

  • is it just me or does death look like general grievious.

    in water.

  • midnight :D

  • I fall asleep listening to this at night, it makes me feel like I'm a little witch waiting for her Hogwarts letter instead of a teenage girl whose been forced to live amongst muggles because her cat tore up a load of letters on her eleventh birthday.

  • @AliAmiUmi court death, and it might find you - faster then it would have otherwise.

    universal principle.

  • @elenore88 I'm afraid I don't see the relevance between your comment and mine.

  • NO RON!!! TWILIGHT ISN'T BETTER!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @GrandMasterPikachu hahaha i just got it

  • i luv this story

  • Looks very Tim Burton!

  • i love this story it never gets old.

  • The one who died for Love is Snape The one who died for power is Voldermort The one who greeted death like an old friend is Albus Dumbledore.

  • @deathgaze05 I disagree on the third brother. The third brother is James/Harry Potter.

  • Comment removed

  • @kelceeglhd Why? did James potter knew he was gonna die?? No, but Dumbledore did he knew he was gonna die therefore greeting death like an old friend.Hell he even planned his death in Astronomy tower.

  • @deathgaze05

dude, chill. Sorry. I just thought.

  • @kelceeglhd no, it's his ancestor.

  • " twilight's fine... better actually" haha <3

  • I don't understand, why did the second brother killed himself?

  • @nakedandyummy

he was driven mad by seeing his loved one he brought back from the dead so unhappy in the mortal world, so he killed himself to be with her.

  • @kasettband really? ok

  • WEASLY IS OUR KING(Y) I love this story..

  • shit death looks so awesome

  • "At midnight. Mum always said midnight."

    I also prefer midnight.

  • Am I the only one who is gonna tell this story to my small children in the future as a bedtime story??

  • @theavengerisafteryou hahaha that would be awesome XP

  • Can someone write down the last sentensece she said? "as an old friend and went with him gladly......" ?!

  • @Mauselmais as equals.

  • @marco1991pl but she said sometinh more before the "as equals" something with life.

  • @Mauselmais "...departing this life, as equals." If I didn't mishear it.

  • The cloak of invisibility

Originally owned by Ignotus Peverell, it too was passed down through the generations, eventually landing in the hands of James Potter and then Harry. The fact that Harry inherited the cloak, coupled with the presence of Ignotus's grave in Godric's Hollow, strongly implies that Harry is descended from the Peverells. We already know that Voldemort himself is descended from them as well.

Harry keept the secret cause so The cloak of invisibility could be used again :P

  • Never thought of Voldermort, Harry, or Snape that way before. This story is brilliant on multiple levels

  • one of the best animation i had seen...

  • One of the three brothers died for power, just as Tom Riddle/Voldemort died in his quest for total control. One died for lost love, just as Snape put himself in harms way out of his love for Lily Potter. The third brother greeted death like an old friend - Harry allowed himself to be struck down by Voldemort, where he was then given the choice to continue life or not. The story of Harry is just a retelling of the Tale of The Three Brothers.

  • can someone explain who is the three brothers please lol

  • @CHOLO435

    eldest brother-voldemort(died for power)

    middle brother-serverus snape(died for love)

youngest brother-harry(greeted death as an old friend)

  • @TheRatedRcouple Wow that's a great observation, I never thought of that! And it's true!

  • @TheRatedRcouple

It says in the description who it was....

It wasn't them, it was the Peverell brothers.

  • @Sprite2o yes...but if you notice the same thing happened, therefore i gave the answer of my observation.and if you will notice the three (voldemort, snape and harry) died the same way the three beothers died, therefore its like the story all over again

  • @CHOLO435 Antioch, Cadmus and Ignotus Peverell are the three brothers. This Family is related to both the Gaunts and the Potters. The last living Gaunts included a young girl called Merope, mother of Voldemort. This means that Voldemort and Harry are loosely related. Ignotus Peverell, the third brother and ancestor of Harry Potter passed the cloak down through the generations of family, hence it then belonging to James Potter, and then Harry himself.

  • @jesss289 thank you braddahh!

  • how could anybody dislike this!! death dislike this -_-

  • If you start playing Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds - O Children at about 0:33, and put it on quietly behind the video, its brilliant :)

  • @midgetgems124 OMG it does actually!! XD

  • love this story

  • if they made this tale of the 3 brothers. omg... i would seriously buy it.

  • hey do you know where i can download the whole movie?

  • So beautiful, score is perfect, Emma's voice is amazing. My favourite piece in all the movies.

  • Voldemort died for Power. Snape died for Love and Harry greeted death as an old friend! The Tale of the three brothers!

(I actually saw this on another video and thought it was cool! LoL)

  • i love this story so much... it touches me... j.k rowling is the most amazing writer on the planet... the way the story is illustrated is so beautiful, it flows <3

  • voldemort is like the first brother.

    he died because of power

    snape like the second.

he died for a long lost love, lilly potter.

harry is like the third brother

he greeted death like an old friend, willingly and ready.

  • @dinosaursarerawraful

    AMAZGING THOUGH !

  • @dinosaursarerawraful You stole this from Tumblr.

  • @dinosaursarerawraful And you even misspelled Lily.

  • @leoniess15 whoops i guess i didnt notice that when i commented in it since i was on my phone

  • what the hell did ron say at 0:20 ? Twilight's fine, better actually? He sucks

  • 0 people fell in the river.

  • twlight is fine better actually HA HA HA

  • @jetc97 ohh come on ,are you really that immature or do you like Twilight better or just want to piss us off.

  • @manufran02 um i was laughing at ron's line (he said twlight is fine better actually) and u cant compare the two in both films and the books forms its like comparing Shakespeare to Gene Roddenberry both writers wrote for the mass and are highly popular but i wouldnt put in the same catagory so as much as u want to be pissed off go ahead i was just laughing at the irony of that line ...hope u have a great day

  • @jetc97 o.k cool

  • this story has such a really good moral. i think i would buy that book.and Emma, you are such a good story teller.

  • this was so beautiful it was one of my favorite parts in the movie!

  • The way I see it, there are three types of people in the world:

Those that will bring about death...

Those that will try to cheat it...

And those that will accept it.

  • EPIC !

  • when i first saw the start of this scene with the river in theaters i thought it was going to be a bleh whatevers animation, then i was like :O EPIC.

One of the most well put together scenes i have ever watched.

  • "twilight's fine!" ;)

  • when i first watched this i thought the style of animation could be better. but after the 7th time seeing it, i realize that the way this story is told was very well done and the animation is beautiful. any other way wouldn't do.

  • Death's head kinda looks like a head from an overgrown crab... xD

  • I love this scene!

  • I'm so proud that a Swiss man made this :)

  • @hoodge95 maybe, but prince of egypt is a dreamworks movie

  • i love this scene

    she is so beautiful

    and I love Emma's voice

  • This was probably one of the Best Road Movies I've watched in a while, and this scene has a somewhat unworldly feeling to it, ethereal and tantalising at the same time...They really did justice to the story this time,...for the first time, I didn't mind the usual differences between the book and the film adaptation

  • thanks for the download! awesome!

  • Hermoine is such a good story teller ^_^ i could listen to her tell story all day

  • God I loved this scene so much, fantastic art. Hauntingly beautiful. Thank you so much for putting it up! Any chance of the download link? I'd love to be able to have this saved. :)

  • @LightSamus2 *burton

  • @LightSamus2 *tim burton* but yeah, it does look like it.

  • @LightSamus2 tim burton u mean

  • @LightSamus2 *Tim Burton

  • "Twilight's fine, better actually!"

YOU ARE A LIAR, RONALD WEASELY :|

...What? Am I the only one thinking it?

  • @ybfan666

I feel like all those interviews where the cast - and Jo herself - have been asked about Twilight really helped get this line in there. Just as a sort of joke, because you KNOW Ron's sitting there thinking "the hell it is! Mum's is always better!"

  • this is nice cut :]

  • whoa tht was a very well done visual for a story i wanna see this movie soo bad ;3

  • please can I have the download link??

  • agree with @isantaemanta
