Queens early stuff cant be beaten, the first 6 albums are in mho the greatest rock recordings ever committed to vinyl. every single song an opus of melody and lyrical genius . What today can compare to the the likes of nevermore or she makes me. Songs that will be eternally burned into my conciousness ,songs to lift the spirits and heal your soul. If god was a rock star he would bow at the feet of Queen and hail THEM as Gods.
This was my favourite part of the Queen era, albums include Queen, Queen II, Night at the Opera, Day at the races, Sheer Heart attack, News of the World, Jazz and The Game. Don't get me wrong, I also love the later albums, but these were the ones that got me listening to one of the greatest rock bands....EVER!
TASTE IT, THE BEST BAND, WITH A MASTER PIECE, OF COURSE WROTTEN BY MY SR. FREDDIE MERCURY, evry body with a wisely mind most love our QUEEN, every who not is just a foetus of a whore
@Ratamajata69 that is your opinion of course, but the Led Zep combination was already around before Queen ever came to existence, Led Zeppelin was a huge inspiration to for example Freddie for he said so in several interviews ... Led Zeppelin is just different, but just as great, I love both bands a lot!
this is the 10th videos which I had comment on, I don't know what to say anymore but they are the best rock band of the 70's apart from Led Zeppelin. Their music was very complex to made but they did it. Salute.
There is more to drumming then being fast... The drumming in this song adds little. You aren't listening to it, but the great riff and the fantastic vocals.
his voice may only sound a litle differernt to some just because he was younger, listen to steven tyler's voice in 1974 then listen to it in 1993, the same thing happened.
Live there was surprising little change...he had a tendency to sing an octave lower in spots where the vocals went high and you can see him do it in live performances from back in the day. On albums he had a lot more freedom to chance going real high.
this song is another exquisite song off of their very first album i love their hard rock stuff and their fantasy like and short meledys and of course their medleys in their early years and in their late 86 at wembley
you're right... in my humble opinion the difference between the first albums and the rest of the albums is hughe.. I'm not saying their latest albums were crap... but the first times were just a perfect state of art!!!

Queen dedicated "Death on Two Legs" to _________.
I'd like to dedicate this song to __________, a psychotic former city council president, psychotic ex-cop, and psychotic church security director.

Scratch The Game and kick in Innuendo.
It really felt like a last back-to-the-beginning album for me.
That's it. You're ready to go!

You are totally right, those two bands were the best of the 70's, definitely. I slightly prefer Queen tho, they made more sophisticated music...
