I am PROUD that we finally have the Freedom due to our forefather hard-works and pains and I really want to thank the Lord for making US not just black but whites also,I thank the Lord for making us stronger and bringing us to a great better life.Thank you Heavenly father!
i watched this movie as a very small boy in 1998/9 i cried, no i bawled, it was sooo sad an too much for my innocent brown eyes! power to the people and power to Africa the golden crown of the earth!
OMG! i LUV THA OTHER GURL THA IS JUMPIN INFRONT OF THEM, SHE HAS A GREAT VOICE SO DOES THE REST BUT HERS IS JUS STRONG N POWERFUL SO IS THE WHOLE SONG I JUS LUV HER VOICE THE MOST
Tribute & nuff respect to Africa `s favourite Son & ultimate freedom fighter , Madiba---Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela,he gave it all to liberate Zuid Afrika !,A million thanks to the gr8 man , MADIBA ! .Leleti & Whoopi ,u were simply brilliant & sensational in the movie , Sarafina !
thank you sooo much to all the people who fought to give future south africans freedom i was born after the aparthied and us young people often forget how far south africa has come since those days.... o bty so glad tata madiba out of hospital he gave us a scare there for a little while.
What I love about South Africans is this: Despite the oppression they expressed themselves in a joyous way. If it were Kenyans! Lol (I love my country).
when i was 10 my family dumped me for one year in a preachers house, there was an african girl that was rescued from starving and gone to brazil but she had nobody to pay her costs, my family paid for her costs and just after 12 years i find this out
@Beproudtobeblackzim4 you still had freedom when Bush was president. Question is..what are people doing with their freedom? are they making a full out of it or using it morally...
she has such an angelic voice, thats real singing!FREEDOM IS COMING TOMORROW!!!!!!! classic movie that everyone should ownor at least seen. been watching the movie since i was "yay" high. lol and have never got tired of it practically know the script by heart. :D
The oppressed needed something to hold on to in hope that things would change: Music, singing and dancing was that special instrument that held them together in patience.
I'm sorry but why do they always have to show blacks and africans dancing through slavery, apartheid and oppression. This is not how the movement happened, started or finished. Music was just a background piece. Oppress people don't dance and sing through suffering. They fight and die.
I love this movie so much and it really changed my view of things as a child. I saw this movie when I was twelve and it made me appreciate the life that I'm living.
I really think that every teen should watch this movie. it seems people my age don't understand the cost of the freedoms they enjoy everyday. Sad but true...
You may not hear it everyday on the news, but our freedom is still being rejoice back in ethiopia and Liberia. It is becuse of that freedom iam here. Even the knowledge I have I got them in peace, becuase of that freedom, most of all if you are an africian, you should know that people will never realize what freedom we wanted untile we show it as individual. That's why I hate black people who come from Africa and start to call themselves gangster... When they should focus on getting educated...
I don't understand and i don't appreciate your usage of the word ''but'' in that sentence'!!! It means subconsciously you believe something else than what you wrote here, or you believe you belong to another race ...correct me if am wrong.
This is my FAVORITE MOVIE OF ALL TIME!!!! I watched it when I was very young now I am 21....I cannot find it anywhere but on YOUTUBE. Where can I buy it?
