I love when people do this kind of covers, it's not wrong singing, it's just different, he sings like he wants to, lyrics are original but author desides how to play music and how to sing, also not always performer can take same notes as original author so it's ok if he adapting song to his voice.
TO AUTHOR: please make cover of Skillet - "Awake and Alive", you have perfect voice to sing this song!
