It is sooo tiresome the way some people go on and on about "inaccuracies" but do not ever specify precisely what the inaccuracy is. It's as though the rest of us are thought of as uneducated illiterate dummies watching some trivial little movie that says nothing. NOT!

Keneally met one of the people who survived because of Schindler and from listening to his experiences in the war wrote the book in 1982. The novel won the major literary prize called the Booker prize in the same year and became a standard high school text in Australia in 1983.
Yeah there are many faults in the overal reality troughout the whole movie.
But the family story is a pretty good example of the brutal nonsence that went on in all its types and forms.
This same kind of nonsence can easily happen again becaus one would not see the danger before hes in it, and then its to late.
Like many radical muslims are creating hate, fear and dislike against all other muslims in the west the last decade and if that keeps growing as it is who knows...??

LOL This american series is as "accurate" as Soviet films about USA. I haven't seen so many historical errors concentrated in a TV-series for a long time.
People I know who lived in Germany in the 1930's don't recognize one bit of this. Even a former member of the SA. But he wouldn't dare to speak out in todays "democratic" Germany, or he would live the rest of his life in prison for speach crime.
