Tell ya what, Last night 4 cops came to look for a wanted person related who gave my address.

When I had to let them in to search there was a camera man, I asked them to turn the camera off or leave. The main cop said NO! It's for our protection. I demanded after seeing theirs on YT. He wouldn't comply. SO..

I went & got mine & filmed them all, He was speechless and never told me I couldn't. Because I replied to him!

This is for our protection as well. He said no problem that was fine.

That's not the point.. The point is, it's completely legal to do so (when audio/video) a public official, such as a member of law-enforcement, as clearly stated in the Constitution.

The only time it is 'illegal' in some states, is when you are 'secretly' filming police. Otherwise the "you are being audio and video recorded' regardless of consent from a police officer, is completely legal when filming in public, and in public, you do not even have to let them know they are being audio/video recorded. When there is no expectations to privacy, all bets are off!

Yes, you need sound on this one, but anyway, since you did not leave your car they have not much reason to mess with you. I am sure you are right, they invited you out so they could then claim you were interfering with them, arrest you on some bogus charge, then get the camera and erase everything on it.
