  • Keep these videos comming! This is an EXCELLENT video. Very easy to follow and saved me loads of money and time! Thank you very much!!

  • thanks my friend,it was the first time i wanted to replace power window from an a series, and you help a lot...

  • Excellent Video! Your instructions are very clear and the video quality is exceptional! My Lover and I replaced the regulator in our garage this morning, and to my surprise, we did not end up with any orphan bolts or screws! (...a first for me). Thanks again for sharing your knowledge and for saving us a bunch of $.

Please make more videos like this one.

  • Very good video - wasnt really looking forward to doing this on my car but now seems like it should be a breeze

  • I had to do this for my 98 a4 hattttted it especially compared to the 02 honda accord i did.

  • Excellent video. Clear video and audio. The right amount of detail. Thanks; you have saved me and many others a significant amount of uncertainty in taking on this type of repair.

  • @swmage4 Thx, this is definitely one of those repairs that you can do yourself - saving alot of money in the process.

  • is there any way not to break any of the clips? or only audi garage knows how to do that?

  • @tabletka666 You can probably save a few if you use a door clip remover. If you look it up in google it kind of looks like a screwdriver.

  • Tremendous video. Two additions for those who are using this video as a guide for an 2004 A4 3.0 driver's side window regulator replacement.

    1. There are two screws that need to be taken out when you pop the small panel slightly above the armrest.

    2. There are also two screens that need to be taken out to remove the driver's side mirror.

In my case, one of the two wires that attaches to the gear on the regulator broke at the gear. I'm ordering a new regulatory assembly and will save $390.

  • @johnabreault thx for the tips on the driver side. While not completely broken, the wires on our window regulator assembly were eating away at the plastic gear piece. The plastic parts and the "factory" duct tape make me wonder what audi was thinking when they designed this.

  • @happywrenching I thought the duct tape on my 2005 A4 was from a previous repair! Thats factory?! duct tape is is my fav tool! LOL

  • First class video, and given the audi trait of chewing cables and what not, very helpfull to those of us who have suffered this fate.

  • If only I had found this video about 5 hours ago. It would have saved me a lot of time and swearing.... Good video.
